Lolitits was pretty nice! Interesting how 9's have more of the "short, nasty, brutish" kind than any other difficulty.

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
Chaosmaid - generic jump/handstream file, but the patterns are fluent and flow pretty nicely, good job kommi 7/10
Release - can't really say anything for this, could definitely use another chart though Princess Lolitits - quite a short file. nothing worth mentioning except for the PR which was nailed down good 6/10 Storm Raid Battle - for a song like this, it did not have to be overdone with hands and 16th jump transitions. overdoing technicality isn't fun 3/10 Demon Beast Appearance - gotta say this was interesting and extremely fun, had some old school patterns and it seems more unique than any other S.S.H. file on here. great job icy 9/10

Release - Love this song, not much to say since its super easy lol. Would like to see a heavier stepped version though.
Princess Lolitits - File was decent, not much to say Demon Beast Appearance - file seemed kinda awkward imo, but not that bad Storm Raid Battle - this chart was shit Chaosmaid - like playing this chart on SM, just as fun on FFR |

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
I'm usually a fan of most 0 charts but SRB is utter shit compared to what's on the DF engine

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
And I'd even argue that the DF version is understepped... but it's still far more fun.

Where the hell is wc's chart for SRB? That was way better than the one that just got released.
I swear it seems like 0 gets away with more BS than a lot of stepartists, just sayin'. EDIT: Oh, and I think Chaosmaid is even more fun on FFR than SM.

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
Storm Raid Battle was pretty oppressively unenjoyable.
Judges need to be more mindful of files with awful transitions...

Wait I'm not the only one who expressed a lack of enjoyment?

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
As shitty the file of SRB is, I find it strangely fun for some odd reason... I guess I'm iironiic?

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
After playing through Storm Raid Battle again I have to say my frame fixes were definitely needed. Even now the file is still nasty in several transitions.

I'm probably going to need mirror to nail Demon Beast Appearance...those minijacks are bad habit bait, but the 24ths flowed REALLY ****ING WELL. Icy knows what makes good patterns.

didn't get the chance to say this because I wasn't around, but I'll say it now
hot damn Icy - Demon Beast Appearance is one of the best FMOs I've played on FFR in quite some time, awesome job |
