[College - APA References] Interview Citation
Hi everyone. This is a bit more of an unorthodox question, but I want to verify that I am doing this properly.
I am a very avid user of the Purdue OWL, but I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding this particular situation. I'm writing a paper on the history of C#/.NET, and I found some information that I would like to use here: http://www.code-magazine.com/Article...uickid=0501091 However, I'm conflicted on the way that I should cite it. - If I attempt to cite this as an interview, I have issues with appropriately citing the date, as it needs to have a full date in Month Day, Year format according to APA standards. - In addition to this, the two websites listed at the very beginning of the article are considerably out of date and lead me nowhere to finding the most authentic/original source. Looking at the source of the webpage, the title of the page is indicated as "CODE Magazine - Article: Heard on .NET Rocks: Jay Roxe", but the original source is obviously not from CODE Magazine, looking here: Quote:

Re: [College - APA References] Interview Citation
A quick google search of the show archives gets me to this link (albeit it's show 87 on their website, it matches up with your original article):
http://www.dotnetrocks.com/default.aspx?showNum=87 The date on the dot net rocks website lists it as November 1, 2004. However, the transcript of the interview episode shows it as October 29, 2004. The Nov. 1 date must just be the submission date to the archive area of their website. EDIT: The transcript is substantially larger than the excerpt provided on the CODE Magazine website, but I'm fairly certain they're one and the same in terms of subject matter and context. Good luck

Thank you so much, Netjet! I guess I should look a bit harder, eek. I'm a little stressed out trying to do this, sigh.
I really appreciate it, regardless. |
