1.Though the shadows fall
Tainted by ugly darkness
My unrelenting affection
For things unknown
Remains.
The quality
Of my thoughts
Decrease
As the moon
Rises.
My inner lust
for blood
arises
and then
my fangs are bared
in the light
of the man living
in the moon.
I creep toward civilization
Neither man
nor wolf
nor being
I am
what was once
and what was once is
and what was once is is now was
A demon.

2. Collecting sand
which percolates
between my toes
on the beach
is terrible, though I laugh in mirth
At the crediblility,
of a drop of a hat,
causing a flood of tears
to flow deep into the small shells
on the ground
I think for of my dearest
Because without her
I would never have known
true love


On second though
Love exists not
Only sorrow
Like Buddha tells
"Life is but sorrow
Amounting while mirth runs free
until the day is done"

I got a sonnet I wrote:

If howling at the moon means you're lonely,
Then maybe I should grow fur and do so.
If solitary is one fish in the sea,
Then shouldn't I sprout gills and fins and go?

How many times have I failed to find love?
To my distaste, more than I desire.
I cry out, my head and hands streched above.
No one answers, my heart is on fire.

It is the burden that I just can't lift.
And oh how I wish to be free of it.
I would return this if it was a gift.
But I cannot, so here, alone, I sit.

Can anyone see me, hear me, touch me?
No, to be alone is my destiny.

"Guiding Spirit"



I pull a sheet of water over my head,
And I wait lying, in the ocean bed.
As I wake up I see someone new.

He said,

"Please do not worry, I am here to help you.
I have come to heal your heart;
I require no toll.
I have come to free your mind;
I have come to set your soul.

Now, follow me into a dream.
Follow, where there's no need to scream;
No need to cry,
No need to fear,
No need to worry;
Only good resides here.

Look at your future;
Look at your past.
Realize your life will never last.

Realize your hate;
Realize the shame;
Realize you suffer;
Let go of the pain."

"I have known this from the start;
I admit that's all true,
But if you know me so well,
Who are you?"

"You have known me this whole life;
Since your first day here.
I'm not a friend, nor family,
But you are not to fear."

I spent the next few days
Learning all his ways.
As we talked about the past,
I found the right path.

I spent my goodbyes giving thanks.
As did he.
But when I was thanking the spirit,
I was really thanking me.

It wasn't really me writing. I was up about midnight, and I got this sudden inspiration. I don't know why I wrote it, it was just the way I felt. The pen pretty much took over and did the work for me. I've written much better poems, that's just my favorite.
