Default My Trip to Illinois

TL;DR, I went to Illinois and had a blast. Pictures are below.

Last week I took a trip to Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. The reason being was to visit my (stubborn) grandmother who was in the hospital but didn't want to come back home (not going to talk about this any further). I also had a chance to visit my uncle again which I haven't seen in 12 years. It was such a blast hanging with him again! I roamed Wisconsin a bit as well since I was right on the border of Illinois. I went to Lake Michigan along with my mother, her friend, and my brother to walk on the pier to come up close to a lighthouse. I even went to the Renaissance Festival in Bristol, Wisconsin a couple days ago with quite a few people. Watched a couple shows (Barely Balanced, Adam Crack/Fire Whip) which were amazing to witness, even got a little souvenir.

Lots of page stretching pictures to look at:

A toll that costed 2 dollars... -_-

Tunnel.

Mountains in Virginia.

Beginning West Virginia.

Charleston, WV.

The inn I stayed at in Grayson, Kentucky. This was 330~ miles into our trip.

Outside the inn.

Beginning Indiana (dirty as **** window).

Windmills (there were hundreds of them along the road).

I guarantee that Chicago traffic sucks.

Illinois!

mmmmmm

white as fuc

My uncle and brother.

Lake Michigan.

Birds!

Stumbled upon a planned wedding.

Barely Balanced show at the Renaissance Festival (not sure if you guys will be able to see what they're doing).

What I got from the festival, 22 dollars 8).

Another inn I stayed at, in Edinburgh, Indiana. This was 280~ miles into going home. -_-

Harro.

...and done. Got a couple more pictures to show soon.

Finally home. 1700~ miles in the car and a lot of money spent. Ugh... next time I'm flying.

Barely Balanced Show looked pretty cool. o:

What exactly is that thing that you spent 22 dollars on? I can't really tell because my monitor is kinda messed up atm.

Sounds like you had a great time, Alex!

That image reminds me of a particular area where you can walk on Lake Michigan that actually isn't surrounded by a beach area, and the water is actually deep in that particular area. There's short ladders for you to climb back onto the walking area, though. It almost looks like that particular area, but without the lighthouse. I used to dive in the water at that particular spot anytime I noticed that tide/waves were near stagnant (for safety purposes, of course). Good times, haha.
