8 bit songs
How are these songs made? Is it all done by computer or is there a pedal for guitar to make it sound 8bit. Parts in Thrash really sound like guitar solos

There are all sorts of ways you can make it--cartridges that give you control of a video game's sound chip (NES=MIDInes, Gameboy=LSDJ or Nanoloop, MSSIAH=C64 etc) as well as Trackers (like NERDTRACKER II). There are also plenty of VSTs for your DAW that emulate the sounds. But all in all you just need four channels of sound that play Square, Trangle, Noise, and Pulse waves. That's it.
