jTWG XLVIII: The Hundred Years War
Backstory: The humans are fed up with this crap. Who do these wolves think they are, rampaging around THEIR villages and murdering THEIR people? Well, the humans have had enough. The ultimate minds have come together to devise a way to finish off those damned wolves once and for all. However, the wolves are always one step ahead. They too have collaborated with one another to plot the humans final downfall. This is the war to end it all, the war that will finally decide who lives and who dies. Special Events: This game will span "multiple generations", with each new generation seeing more and more advanced units. Thirteen people start the game. Each phase after night 2, two players will join the game until there are no more players left to send in. Their roles will not be revealed to anybody but themselves. I will simply announce the names of the players who are entering. The player setup is as follows: 15 player minimum; 19 player maximum Roles in Generation One: 7 Humans 3 Special Humans 1 Seer 1 Guardian 1 Psychic 3 Wolves 1 Wolf Seer 2 Wolves Subsequent Generation Roles: 1 Hunter- If wolfed, 50% chance that a random wolf will die on the same night. Seers green to humans, blue to wolves. 1 Wolf Tamer- Cannot be wolved, but seers red to human seer, and any day votes towards this person count one and a half times. (ie: If three people vote for this person, they have 4.5 votes instead of 3.) Seers Green to wolf seer. 1 Soulmaster- Can revive a player each night, but must take the life of another green or blue in order to do so. If the Soulmaster selects a wolf to sacrifice, the Soulmaster themselves will be sacrificed instead Seers blue to all seers. 1 Ninja- Can vote to kill any one player each night. If seered, a different player will be seered instead, at random. 2 Wolf Spies- Once per game, the player may PM the host requesting the role of one player. There is a 100% chance that the role returns correctly. Seers green to Human Seer and red to Wolf Seer (Does this even need to be said?). Notes: I discussed this with Manti and he told me to remove the MW, to keep it as close to the 4:1 ratio as possible. This is the result. Also, everybody has been confused by the whole "subsequent generations" business, which I don't understand. It's a very simple concept, some people start playing right away, others have to wait a bit before joining in on the game itself. PS: Witty role PM's this time.

Re: jTWG XLVIII Host Sign-ups
The first time I'm proposing a Mystery Game!
The following is what I will say: -The theme will be Pokemon - There will be an entirely new TWG concept - Several roles that I posted in the idea thread MAY be implemented - I'll need 14 players - Each person will have a special role |

Re: jTWG XLVIII Host Sign-ups
*Thinks to self* Alright, new idea. I'll tell the old mystery game and change it to... Never mind. Just read my posts.
14 Players 3 Wolves 3 Special Humans 8 Regular Humans Here's why this game is like no other before it: There will be fourteen Pokemon from the first two seasons (because after that it sucked). Regardless of the attacks they should have, each Pokemon (player) will have 4 attacks. The attacks list is at the bottom. The Wolves have a 80% chance of their attack going through. No more than 3 attacks per person, or 7 total if all succeed. No more than 2 per night The Blues have the same chances. The regular humans have a 40% chance of their attacks going through. Here's the catch: Not all moves are attacks. Reflect- Causes enemy attack to bounce off. Protect- guards self. Quick Attack- attacks in real time. Mirror Move- Copies chosen players last move. Spite- knocks one attack off of desired player. Defense Curl- Guards self. Metrenome- Uses any random attack in the game Destiny Bond- Has everything that happens to you happene to the desired player. Includes vigi, death, guard, and seering. Future Sight- attacks an enemy in the following phase Spikes- if the enemy successfully attacks in the following phase they die. Self Destruct- Kills yourself and an enemy of your choice. Mind Reader- seer Sketch- 100% success rate and copies the last move of a desired player Supersonic- The enemy has a 50/50 chance of using their attack on themself Transform- Turns you into the Pokemon of the player you choose. ***Attacks in bold are ones I think would be awesome. Attacks in italics are ones I may need to explain more. |

Re: jTWG XLVIII Host Sign-ups
If anyone's wanting to play an original TWG, I want to host one based off of the very first TWG ever in the history of FFR.
Chardish was the very first host for TWG ever on FFR, his story was with a quaint village known as Flarev, in honor of this very traditional game, I would like to create a game where another incident occurs in this village to the younger ones of the old players(meaning you guys would be the kids of the original TWG'ers in that particular game). The incident however, will create an interesting storyline for the town. Before I go into the roles, everyone will be assigned as the younger one of a specific player, now grown up(of course the same roles can not be assigned as that old player). So the roles will be as follows: 15 players 3 Wolves: two wolves and a Witch Doctor, who has the ability to resurrect a wolf if he wolfs himself, but with a 50% chance of not dieing and saving the other wolf, or dieing and the other wolf comes back to Life. 2 Blues: Gaurdian, and Seer One special role that will occur when a certain event occurs in the game(Occurs when a certain person dies, will be chosen at random who that specific person is, then after their death if it occurs, a special role will be assigned to another random person that will have the ability to grant one player the role of seer, which means an extra seer(mind you it could be a wolf)) 9 greens The reason for this, I think it's time for a traditional game, rather than all of these new and extremely twisty roles. While this game may have some weird roles, the concept is still very original in the sense of the old game. |

Re: jTWG XLVIII Host Sign-ups
You should have stuck around. Emerald hosted a "Back To Our Roots" game with original roles and I did a Man-Hunt. You would have liked them, I think.

Re: jTWG XLVIII Host Sign-ups
It's come to my attention that the theme may be stupid, it just fit the concept best, IMO. So, I'll ponder a few different ones. Star Wars, possibly? Guitar Hero? I've got some I'll throw around. The concept remains the same. I'll just re-name the attacks if people don't like the Pokemon idea.
