Daddy
Gather sound, folks, it's story time:
So, 6 of us were bored in class today and I whipped out a deck of cards and learned a new game. Why am I posting it here? Because it reminded me of TWG Pretty much you play on a team. It doesn't matter how many people are on the team, there can just only be two teams. Each person is dealt 4 cards. 6 cards are lain out in front of everyone, in the middle. The object of the game is to get 4-of-a-kind by picking up cards fro the pile of 6 and putting down, because there must be 6 cards down at all times. How does TWG play into this? Well, the way to win is to first establish secret signals with your team. Because when you have 4 of a kind you give the signal so your team mates can call 'Daddy' and you win. If the opposing team spots the signal they can call 'cut' and you lose. It's really a lot of fun, hope you guys see the TWG reference. And have fun, it was a blast! |

Re: Daddy
The singals made it fun, except when retards didn't see them. Like, mine was to start texting or play with my hat.

I've played this game as well, only the words you yell are different. Still, it's the same concept and really fun.
If the person is on your team, you yell, "Kemps" And if the person is trying to stop the opposite team, they yell, "Stop" |

Re: Daddy
yeah, kemps is how I play it. that is the name of the game, lol. I love this game. My partner and I have been playing together for 4 years and have only been beaten a few times. Our signal is to flare our nostrils. It is suttle yet effective.

Re: Daddy
We totally got our asses handed to us because my team was incredibly smart but unattentive. We made a 6 game streak come back in the end, 4 courtesy of me. I made the funniest hint to them, I had 3 sixes and needed the 4th so I said 'anyone ever devil worship? I never understood why it was only 3 6's' and my friend dropped his

Re: Daddy
I have played a much less originally named version of that game, "Signal". It's very fun if you have a lot of people playing, it gets so confusing.

I'm glad to see we all know it, even if there's many different names. I think everyone of us should go to the next FFR convention and play a **** load of Mafia and, well, Signal seems to be the best name thus far for it.

Re: Daddy
we called it Kims back when i played in school. it was 2 teams of 2 though. it was fun though, trying to make up weird ass signals and trying to find out your opponents at the same time

Re: Daddy
Yeah, we generally did two teams of two, but, we decided to switch it up a little. Instead of making the teams look like this:
1 2 2 1 We used more people, making the game harder, and set it up like this: 1 2 1 2 1 2 So the signals were harder to detect, since we were further apart. |
