Default Been thinking lately...

I always like to have a bit of an adventure with the way I look. Nothing too overly dramatic, but not so soft either. I've coloured my hair so many times and it's usually around the palette of deep red to burgundy, I'm interested in the piercing world, I'm up to 2g in plugs now, and I wouldn't mind a few tattoos in the future...

So, I've been itching to try a new look. It consists of three things, and feel free to leave your opinions or suggestions! If you guys don't know what I look like (to see what colour hair and piercing would suit me)
Me ~ http://i.imgur.com/hFeex.png

1.) Dying my hair ~
Blueberry Hill:
http://i.imgur.com/11nx0.png
Vendetta Red:
http://i.imgur.com/52rXj.png
~...And I'm sort of at a loss with a hair style. It's gotten fairly long and it's either wavy or straightened. If I want it cut, I'd much prefer waiting until it gets warmer here. :P

2.) The Aperture Science logo tattooed on the back of my neck (again, this is a thought, not certainly sure just yet). Yes, I am a huge fan of Portal itself, but I love photography, so the aperture sorta goes along with it
~....I also have a few ideas of tattoos, but I'm still thinking hard on which one to do first >.< (cello strings or the Aquarius symbol are other ideas)
here's what it looks like: http://i.imgur.com/l6CuM.png

3.) Septum piercing
~...I've been told that just a simple nose stud would suit me, but the top of my nose can be a tad bit sensitive, rather than inside the nose at the bottom like the septum.
.......Also, been thinking of stretching my ears a bit more. I'm at 6mm now, just debating on whether to go up to 8mm or 10mm (not instantly of course, that'd hurt O.O)

Anyway, that's what has been going on in my mind lately A bit of some fun changes, what do you guys think?

Hmmm. You should dye your hair the Vendetta Red color, and maybe possibly do something like this (http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_loxeiovB3J1qetq1y.jpg) with the hairstyle, when it gets warmer there.

Also, for tattoos (I know I posted this in your RT, but. ;D), make sure it's something you know you REALLY want. It's kind of permanent so. xD Yeah. Don't go with something stupid that you'll probably regret getting later.

You look a lot like my best friends sister, so my guess is a nose ring would look really good, the one with a hoop, not a stud. I'm all for streched ears, try to have a goal that you want to reach (but remember 00g is the point of no return). I'm not a big fan of septum piercings, I just don't like how it looks like, a lot of my friends got it in high school and now they just keep retainers in and hide it.

As for tattoos I just say get what you really want. I like them more on other people than myself so I'd never get one.

Vendetta red looks really good, have you tried using photoshop to change your hair colour to see which you like better?

EDIT: Stage I mean the point of no return as in, it won't fully close anymore, it's usually a debate between 0g and 00g so I picked the largest of the two.

I'd go with the Blueberry Hill! For the piercings, I you don't like them, just take em off, I've had my septum for 2 years and it's always flipped up, a nose ring is nice, and if you don't like it, put a stud in. As for your ears, the point of no return isn't really 00g, there is no point of no return, I went from 20 mm to 6g, and then back up to 20 mm, so it really really depends on your body.
As for the tattoos, everyone said it

As her husband, and owner of 2 nose-rings. I can say that she'd be against nose-rings or studs, she just wants the septum. Tattoos are something that needs a lot of thought, you've got them for life.

As for ears, the point of no return is generally between 10-12mm, she is at 6mm atm, my daughters are 3mm (mine have been reduced from 28mm to 22mm).

Also, this probably should've remained as a random thought. Silly wife...

For some reason, when I clicked to view how you looked, I expected a septum piercing. hmmm....
I honestly don't prefer anyone to have piercings or painted hair or anything. I like just being... natural. orsomethinglikethat. but, I'd like to see that Blueberry Hill in action.

I sadly don't have photoshop </3 And I've attempted with seeing what sort of shade of colours suit my hair from various hairstyle websites and they always make it look very unrealistic.
Also...curious to see how alike your best friend's sister looks to me xDD

For a tattoo design, that looks good. Regardless of where it came from, it is fully symmetric, and provided it is a small tattoo on the back of your neck, could do well enough.

Septum piercings are dead sexy, I think. I've considered it myself. I haven't done it but that's not to say it's out of the question.

Both of those hair colors look nice. A cyan/light blue or blue-green also works, as does a two-tone approach. For two-tone, you can either use contrasting colors with tipping (For example, black hair with red tips) or complementing colors with blending (For example, cyan and blue-green). For lighter colors you might have to first bleach your hair and then apply the color. For darker colors this isn't necessary.

Look at a hair magazine because those models tend to have amazing hairstyles and it should give ideas for styles. Alternately, look at the hairstyles on the packages of various products in the health & beauty aisle of your local grocery or drug store - don't buy the product necessarily -- just try to get ideas of styles (the product won't give you the style pictured).

Going to have to disagree with all permanent body modifications. Natural skin and a smooth body with no metal studs is more beautiful than anything you can do.

By that logic my 22mm ears, 3 tongue rings, twin nose studs and 20hrs of tattoos (not including the 15-18 piercings I've removed in the last 12 years) make me an ugly mother****er~

awwww yea ;D

It's all a matter of personal preference really. I used to go for the more clean-cut look, but then at some point I just became wildly attracted to alternative looks. Also, more isn't better. Some things are definitely better than others. Pierce all the things! or Tattoo all the things! is not the way to go - you need style/aesthetics.

I could go into more details on things I personally prefer, but that might get a bit racy. In general, symmetry is good, but there are exceptions to this. Colorful is also good.

Unfortunately, yes. In my personal preference that is quite unattractive.

Piercings and tattoos can be attractive, but only in moderation for me. And it's more of what they are of than the piercing or tattoos themselves. Plain studs and hoops are pretty ugly. But no one wears septum rings with sparkly gems or art deco motifs in them, so I'm gonna say no for that. (-;

I would usually say blue for hair dye, but I think the purple would match your skin better. Although, you say you're usually burgundy, so blue would be more of a change.

I like that tattoo...it's got a meaning for you, and it's simple. In theory complicated tattoos are awesome, but once they're on they seem to always end up looking messy.

I dated a girl with a septum piercing. Hated it. Thank god she took it out.
Not a fan of colored hair either.

The Aperture Science logo sounds pretty cool though.

Everyone has different preference.

is this why you still have a unibrow? you can disagree with body modification, but saying "nothing changed on your body is the most beautiful thing" makes you sound like a close-minded dickbag.

I'm ok with colored hair on girls. Probably because it isn't permanent.

wtf...I can think of absolutely no less dick way to say 'I don't like body modification'
Also Izzy, your unibrow's barely a unibrow. Plus it's...ummm, the only manly facial hair you seem to have. Getting rid of it would make you look more feminine.
