6135 Peach Tree Parkway, Norcross, GA 30092
Saturday, April 7, 2012 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM Taken from your links and posted here - (mainly so if I come back to this I don't need to click outside links to get that info again) May or may not be there (no promises), but at least there's real info this time. Much better than the "there may be a tournament" followed by no info from last time. Improvement! |

Re: DDR tournament in Georgia
Lol different place, different machine, different results.
I'm training hard. Got 2 new AAA's today when I only had 1 before.

Re: DDR tournament in Georgia
If I do go I'd have to be in the lower division since the best I can do is pass 9s, .. maybe pass a few "easy" 10s (Bag, Chaos, Sakura -- only 10s I've passed). I'm most likely not going to be AAA'ing anything (unless for some reason we're playing like a 5).
I'm not up to the leet skills of some folks. Then again, I'm a no-bar 1x'er. Is it even possible to pass some of the harder 10s no-bar 1x? |

But with practice, yes it is possible. I've passed ITG 12s (Hardcore of the North) like that. But you'll improve a lot faster with the bar, with speedmods, or with both. Although no bar and 1x is hella fun! I played 1x nobar for the first few years of my DDRing career, and before I learnt about speedmods I was AAing Max300. Re: DDR tournament in Georgia
Man I wish there were tournaments near me, I haven't seen any at all to be honest. I'd probably get destroyed but at least I'd know what skill level I'd need to be at to not be destroyed >.<.
Good luck at the tournament btw Dragon, hope it's fun XD P.S: Unrelated but someone should make a DDR/ITG scores thread, I'd love to put up my scores somewhere that they don't go completely unnoticed like my profile page >.<

Also, Ill try to have the rounds recorded and post them. The DDR machine is the loudest thing in the arcade so it should sound clear. @Wildfire: My 3 AAA's are Air, Ballad for you, and lol End of the Century. Also today I got a AA on Super max 300 challenge and a 93% on trim

Don't go. It's a trap.
He's just going to cheat and spray you with a water bottle every time you try playing.

Re: DDR tournament in Georgia
Tournament was today.
Was lots of fun. I was tied for 5th place out of 8 in the heavy division (there were 2 divisions) Flash won. Shocker lol. He's really cool, I played him for warm ups and I came within 30,000 of him on trim :'3 Ill post videos and pictures later

Re: DDR tournament in Georgia
I wish I had tourny's in my area. I'd be in the lower division because I have trouble with crossovers on real machines (instead of my home pad). I can FC almost all 8's and a majority of 9's, but never came close to a AAA.
