You Gotta B-E-E-R! [10 or 11]
Just played this for the first time about an hour ago and was incredibly iffy on the difficulty. In terms of difficulty to FC, it's clearly a 10, but the syncopated polyrhythms are incredibly easy to drop goods in (at least in my opinion, I might just be really bad at polys, that's why I was iffy on making this thread). Plus a few framer issues during the 64th triples into jumps during the section slightly past the midway point and during the two syncopated 24th jacks near the end, as well as taking into account that the file's over 2k notes in length.
I'm not expecting to get a lot of support on this one but I honestly think FMO is more fitting (low FMO obviously). I completely agree that the file feels like a 10, but I've always rated songs based on difficulty to AAA, and this one really feels more like an 11. I'm only bringing this up because I feel it probably wouldn't be brought up otherwise (unlike songs like Indo No Sobaya, which hasn't been brought up yet but definitely will be in due time). Just curious to see what you guys think about this one. |

its long and the jacks are annoying, along with the polys, i wouldent mind seeing this as an 11.

FC difficulty is barely a 10, but PA difficulty for me seemed to be low FMO.
Honestly, I think the file is so incredibly awkward and long that an 11 might be acceptable, plus it's hard for me because half the time I can't even understand what in the music the arrows are going to... actually supporting this bump to 11.

The length, along with the awkward polyrhythms do make it difficult to PA this song as hi19 suggested. I wouldn't mind having this bumped to an 11.

The toughest part with making objective ratings in the 10 to 11 area all comes down to the fact that FFR has no relevant passing difficulty. If a person wanted to mash to keep themselves alive, they could do that with no issue.
Looking at this file and shadowing it, the density is relatively low, and the 48th polyrhythms only seem to make tricky grace note patterns when they appear as jacks. Other times, it's relatively smooth and just requires a bit of control. I do have to say though, those polyrhythms at the end of the song are really nasty... A dispute like this might need to be solved with scoring data, which there really isn't enough of. I'll stand with this file being rated as a 10, but I won't stand on this side strongly, because I definitely understand the reasoning behind saying it's an 11. |
