Default [4k] BOAT "Bursts of a Teitoku" Pack RELEASE

A bursty and jacky pack brought to you by YoshL

Download: https://mega.nz/#!pIkDEJ7J!totcfBBqT...tvH2omBHgO1R_U
SMO mirror?

17 files, ranging from around D4-ish and upwards. However, the majority of the pack is catered towards D6+ players. The pack is centered around bursty patterns, with an addendum of jacks on the side.

There's a good range of old and newer files by me, ranging from the first file that I ever stepped (Hyadain [Heavy]) to recent files.

In the end, I had advice w/ difficulties, but ended up fudging them based on the in-pack difficulty spectrum.

Thanks so much to
=====================
Skwid for spending a massive amount of time playtesting and critiquing the pack files, ironing out the overly-dumb parts
Charu and Gradiant for the collabs in the pack (Thanks charu for letting me make dodgeball as well)
Mina for also streaming and playing through the pack for difficulty ratings
April/Eze for giving the pack a look for difficulties
Xiz for the Umbral Ultimatum gfx
Gazelle for the Umbral Ultimatum gfx that I didn't use <3
Guilhermeziat for also giving the pack a playtest
A lot of other people who I reached out to about this pack for gfx help and playtests/feedback
Countless people who in the past have also looked at these files over the years and helped out

All the gfx sans the umbral set were thrown together by me.

Arsenal Remix
-------------
Nanodesu

Break the Silence
-----------------
Camellia seemed like the hot new thing to step so this came out fairly recently after I lost my mind over the climax of this song and how good it was. I purposely leaned towards understepping a lot of sections, and tried to keep the difficulty lower than I think I'd usually make it because it just felt right.

Buggy Desolation
----------------
Charu came to me like "here's a chart, feel free to do whatever with it" And the majority of the file that he showed me was preserved in the Beginner difficulty, but I added some more holds. And mines. Ends with the most disgusting section of minedodge that makes it incredibly hard to even pass the song. Spruced up the layering and burst usage in the Challenge difficulty, there's some nasty hand patterning that might throw you off.

Charu - "full song is 7? 11 minutes? So if you want to hear more of that bee noise, *dohoho* find the full version. As for the minedodge difficulty, don't follow the bee. It will be very detrimental to your experience"

Dreamin' Attraction
-------------------
Listening through the album that this is in (as well as Smiling), this song jumped out as something i needed to step. It came out a lot harder than I had originally envisioned, but I feel like it still fits the screaming nature of the song. Very hard. Look out for left hand bass holds too!

Hyadain no kakakata Kataomoi
----------------------------
I'm so glad that T-Force still had this file around from when I submitted it to a ravemeister pack probably like 7 years ago or something. As the first file I've stepped, I didn't change a thing, and left that as the Hard chart to kinda stand as a nostalgic pillar in this pack. I updated the file though in the Challenge difficulty with more appropriate layering for this pack whoops. Definitely the easiest file in this pack.

Kan-Construction
----------------
Good song, picked it from gpop's Kancolle Pad Pack, and found the full version to step. The song itself is so varied, helping make this file probably the most technical out of all the files in this pack. It heavily tests all skills in sm. Also, boats yelling.

Mario Trap
----------
Intended as a "Press Start v2" for those who know the FFR chart, I'm glad it turned into not that. While there's definitely some nods in the song and file to Press Start (double quadjacks). Ending spike is quite a lot, and might take you off guard.

Gradiant - "It's gay as fuck"

Mix a Little Foolishness
------------------------
Something I've had laying around for a little while, it's a nice quick thing. Not much really to say about it I don't think?

Oops
----
Basically the FFR version with added hands because back then I didn't think using hands was ok or something I don't know. Bursts are mostly rolly in this one, watch for some [14] jacks scattered throughout though

Parousia-LAST JUDGEMENT-
------------------------
Originally this was too damn hard. Nerfed this chart pretty hard to make it actually fun, but still challenging (pre-outro is still very dense). I know I probably missed like 20+ burst opportunites in the chart, but it still came out a lot nicer than I would have expected given the nature of the song and having so many layering options

POTATOE
-------
Thank choof for making this meme. It's a meme through and through, have fun. (Originally stepped for use in an osu!mania tournament warmup)

Powerhaus
---------
Jacky and bursty, been around to many different places to finally be released in this. Ending is cut btw because it's long

Pumpin' Junkies
---------------
Has the capability to be stepped accurately and not be passable or fun at all (32nds everywhere) but the 24ths make life bearable. Ending is still butt hard oop

Rave 5
------
I feel like this is one of my better files that got into FFR, and I wanted to see it pop out on SM as well, with a couple of extra fixes throughout the file.

Smiling
-------
God tier song. I cried when I first heard this (also was not in an emotionally stable situation) because it's so good. This is the only semi-dump of the pack, mostly because I felt like 16th stream during the chorus felt like the biggest letdown in the universe. I think burst patterning is a tad unconventional, but not really awkward I don't think, which is why I'm calling them "wonky". Very stamina draining if you don't watch out, there's 3 sections of 24th jumpstream, and the last ends pretty brutally. *Arf Arf Arf*

Umbral Ultimatum
----------------
Stepped right around the same time as Rave 5, and with a couple of edits, decided to place this in the pack as well. A little bit artsy I guess, with color notes that I hardly use nowadays

where is my balls
-----------------
Imagine empty playgrounds free of children's shouting and laughter.
That's the beautiful dream of Vasectech.
