Fate/Stay Night - Page 6

And the anime goes straight with the Fate ending. No surprises here.

While it was a nice ending, the lack of cohesion in the last third of this series (mostly due to it completely forgetting about 75% of its cast) kept it from affecting me much, and ultimately lowered my enjoyment of the series by quite a bit.

Still a lot of good stuff here. Most prominently, I think it will be a long time before I encounter a series with a cast this good. But it could have been so much more =/

I was quite sad to see the two part >_<. It probaly would've spoiled things though. I thought the fight could've been made longer and the showing of how they now live there lives a bit shorter. Overall though I wasn't too disappointed with it. Their was a lot of good there.

Holy **** that ending blew my expectations away. With the rather steep dive in quality of the latter half of the series, this episode was ****ing awesome. Even though I was pretty sure they would end up parting ways, they did it in a way that made me feel not

, which is kind of surprising.

Hats off to you, Fate/Stay Night.

Yeah, I knew that this ending was coming, and I thought that I would hate it.

I actually ended up liking it quite a bit. Studio Deen pulled off the bittersweet aspect really, really well.

It's just a shame that I ended up not liking Saber very much (relative to the other girls - I don't dislike her at all). She needed more goofy eating moments to help me get past her excessive stoicness >_>

Yea same. I try to think of it being a good thing though, when you look at some anime like inuyasha and Dbz and that.

Ok, so they never got into what I think would have been a more interesting storyline, but whatever. Here are the spoilers I was referring to way earlier on. All I read in spoilers were the relationships between magician and summoned Hero, and who they were. I'll leave out the ones we all knew.

Archer should also have been incredibly obvious toward the end of the series. If you watch episode 17, then episode 14, you'd get it right away. Archer is Emiya Shirou. Yes, the main character. That's why when he was about to die, he remembered moments he had with Tohsaka as the current Emiya Shirou. It's just Emiya Shirou from the future. Apparently he had been dabbling in his tracing long after the war ended.

Fun show. Could have been a lot better, as Kefit already pointed out.

What you said about Archer blew my mind away as well. I can't believe I didn't notice. I didn't even have a slight idea. I think its awesome though.
