scrambled, closely followed by fried
they don't necessarily have to accompany anything, they make a great stand-alone dish

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
either: destroy all existence of one of the types of bears above him, then he would (vacuously) move up. or: beat a grizzly bear in a fight. or: do all my homework and get it right. or: bribe me enough and i might subconsciously show favouritism towards it (also, learning to spell "honey" correctly would earn itself more respect from me, but not enough for a place on the list)
well, today i learned pandas are bears. and koalas are NOT bears, check wikipedia or something postbox... uh i mean... i'm a fan of good old cheddar, but brie and stilton are great in small quantities accompanied by biscuits

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
well i'm at university so all i have to play on is a crappy laptop keyboard that has a mind of its own and likes to randomly miss notes and split jumps. if i signed up i'd probably be borderline/low d2, especially since i placed well in tc halogen's tournament, but placements don't take into account what keyboard you play on. also i was overloaded with work for the whole of last month so i could only bring myself to play for about an hour each week. (i spent more than that getting my round 4 score though) so basically i'd have been out in round 2.
also i did a levelrank compare and found out that if tc halogen's tournament was combo scoring i would have won d1. i now have an eternal grudge against raw scoring tournaments.

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
rofl. that's brutal (both the keyboard and the raw scoring dilemma).
what are you studying at university? |

does being the only Ask Me Anything regular in FFR history grow wearisome? or is it invigorating?

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
this subforum is a place i go to when i'm bored and have some time to kill. to be honest i don't usually go on ffr unless i actively want to waste time (except for when i'm involved in some contest or something), and it's just a sort of fun thing to do besides, i just love random questions, whether it's people asking me, or me asking people to see what kind of responses i get.

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
Do you find it odd that there seems to be very, very few British players on ffr/sm? Most in the this sort of community still seem stuck in the ddr days.

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
dAnceguy117: so i have to first invent a sport, then name it? sounds tricky... ok. so i'll invent a sport where you run 400 metres with banana peel all over the floor. (banana skins have been proven by mythbusters to be slippery when you run on them.) and just to mess with people's minds i'll call it "grapefruit", for absolutely no reason at all. ... actually, yeah it doesn't matter what i'll invent, i'll just call it grapefruit to confuse everyone.
squeesfan: yeah i've noticed the lack of british players on this forum, i just attributed it to the fact that in general a large forum may have trouble opening up to an international crowd if the vast majority of content comes from usa/canada, as in it may be a little intimidating to outsiders. i mean, take reddit for example, i don't really get the american in-jokes that you see hogging the top comment spots. also i think most of the music here is american based, except the japanese stuff and the classical piano stuff. just my thoughts though, i might be totally wrong but this is definitely the case in some other large forums i've seen. i'm new to this whole rhythm gaming scene and don't expect to get fully immersed into it at any time, i don't really know what you mean by "ddr days", did ddr used to be a big thing internationally in the past?

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
I wish I had been trained from birth to go pro in grapefruit.
good question. ddr was huge in Japan and the United States about a decade ago. arcades have all but disappeared in the States, but they live on in Japan. I don't really know about any other country, though. do you remember seeing many of the arcade machines in past years? turkey or ham? |

Re: This is my first post. AMA.
haha i didn't even know what ddr was until like 2 years ago, you can call me uncultured :P let me see... since then i've seen 2 or 3 at bournemouth pier, and i saw 1 in an arcade at a ski resort in france, but that's it. i barely passed a seven footer on it if i remember correctly. i'll keep a look out for them
ham. turkey tastes all too papery and dry and a little boring, and ham is more versatile
