FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I looked round here and didn't see a thread on this. (Even though it has been around for a fair while now) Sorry if I over looked a thread on FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood and lock if there is.
Now that's out the way ^^;; I watched the original series and the movie and thought for a fanficion style was good... but to me the manga has been way better so far. So when it was announced that a new FullMetal Alchemist anime series was to be made and was rumored and supposedly promised to be more accurate to the manga I was pretty excited and had my hopes up. But when I saw the first episode I was pretty annoyed that they showed things that shouldn't of been show until later. I am also slightly annoyed that they have cut bits and pieces out. But despite that I think it's doing ok and I'm sort of liking it. So how does anyone else who is watching it liking it so far?

Re: FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I think in the first series she was darkly tanned... not sure why they made her white in this one, when it clearly shows she is darkly tanned in the manga.
I know the inconsonance's in the new anime are small but they still bug me and I feel silly for letting them bug me.

Re: FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
People were having huge arguments over this one. Apparently in the manga, the town (whatsitcalled?) was in the mountains, and the first anime adaptation the moved it to the desert. Haven't watched Brotherhood, dunno where the town is there.

I don't remember the town being in the mountains... since in the manga doesn't say where it is. It just cuts to them in town with Edward drinking while the broadcast is going on. Although I am sure it is from what I saw later it is in the desert.

Re: FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I watched the first season it was good but was kind of sad that winry was left alone though.
This season looks interesting I heard this follows the manga? or does it not? I haven't read the manga but I have thought of watching it some day. |

Re: FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
All in all we've learned it's too much to ask for a faithful rendition of a manga turned anime. XD

Re: FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
I've watched the 13 episodes, and so far I like it a whole lot better than the original series
