Does anyone know when a top 1000 t-shirt,poster,or etc is coming out?

Yes I'm on the top 1000 and I'm wanting to know when the t-shirt,poster,or smoething like that is coming out. If anyone knows please reply to this thread

Quite possibly never. As I recall, they never actually sold all of the original top1000 shirts, and so getting them printed again would cause much the same problem.

People who already have one might not want one, people who aren't in the top 1000 certainly won't want one, and not everyone in the top 1000 would buy one.

As a result, it isn't really the best investment they could be making in terms of merchandise, when they could make more shirts/posters/etc that have appeal to more than a small subsection of the population.

Also top 1000 overall rank shouldn't be something that gets made a big deal of anyway, overall rank isn't indicative of anything except playing a lot. Top 1000 average rank perhaps.

I heard someone say (pretty sure it was Tass) that they probably won't be making another top 1k t-shirt. For pretty much the reasons that Devonin just explained.

I remember them saying "This will be the last time we print these shirts out." or something to that extent. So, it'll be a long shot for them to decide to make the shirts again.

Yeah, I heard that as well. Although I think he (or someone who would be able to make such a statement) said there's a slight possibility they might bring it back one more time if there's more demand for it.

Thats a good idea. Like make sure it's publicly known, then take an official vote or something to find out who will be able to buy for certain.

You say that now, but the longer you're here, the more you realize overall rank means nothing.

I think Devonin means the Top-1k is like a skill shirt. I guess it sort of is, but then there is the All Skill T-Shirt.

The problem with pre-orders is that you don't know what it's going to cost until after you order it, and you can't order it until you know how many to order.

Well, top 1000 average rank would be far too many names to put on a shirt. There are many more users who are in the top 1000 as far as average rank is concerned. Yes, top 1000 overall isn't quite as meaningful as it once was, though it is limited to 1000 names. Top 1000 average could have an EXTREMELY higher amount of names.

How many peopel have an average rank that is the same?
Since average rank is based on the mean of all your song ranks, it can be the same as someone elses, just made up of different songs.
The most easily pointed out is an average rank of 1.

I'm pretty sure that 1000=1000, correct my math if I'm wrong.

But, you know, anything is possible, so there is an highly unlikely possibility that they would make another shirt based on top 1000 rank, even for average rank.

EDIT: Read top post. Obviously, you would just take the TOP 1000 of them all.
