Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
I think I'm gonna call it. I'll try again from time to time in spurts until the deadline but I'm tired of whoring and making absolutely no progress. Good tourney all See ya in the next one.

Hewhoishigh seems awfully suspicious to me. He hasn't been a member for very long, yet he has scores ranging in skill levels from over 47 goods worth of points off on Alpha Helix, yet still an FC, all the way up to FMO AAAs.
And, yes, advanced is a bad division now. It's back to being plagued by needing about 1 good to advance again.

yeah, he's even a lot more suspicious than some people who were not allowed to participate in the tournament.

I FIXED MY GOOD KEYBOARD!
...oddly enough a broken pillow saved it. Gotta love spare cotton. (Yes, I fixed a keyboard with cotton. I'm just that good.) |

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
Yeah, raped this song 100+ times and can't even SDG. There is this pattern in the beginning I just can't hit perfectly... I get an automatic 3 goods just from that. >.< Maybe some advice? >.>;

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
is it around step 100, right before the jumpstream? that screws me up sometimes, but i realized i was just spacing out and trying to flail my fingers at it instead of just concentrating and actually trying to read the arrows there

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
Around there, yeah. It's either I miss the up arrow or press it and get those 3 goods. You're suggesting to just concentrate on it and read it as it pass?

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
Yeah I just realized I was trying too hard. I just let go of the keys and simply looked at the arrows just to read the pattern, then I tried again and really tried to concentrate instead of just being spaced out and playing like I usually do. What gets me EVERY time is like right around 900, there's a few weird jumps in a row and it takes too much work to get that far into the song and fail purposely just to read the arrows. I have no problems with any of the jumpstream/runningmen at any other parts of the song.

I have a problem getting boos 70% of the time on arrows 42-43.
I'm starting to hope maybe advanced will just be ****ty so that my score will get me through as is. edit: uh oh someone AAA'd. Last edited by talisman; 10-12-2007 at 11:15 AM.. |

It's not a matter of IF I'm going to AAA it's just a matter of WHEN. I BF'd 4 times yesterday

Re: 3rd Official FFR Tournament - Round 6
I've 7-good'd too many times, heh. And I think I shouldn't play anymore... too much stuff to do at school. I may just quit anyway...if I don't improve by Monday...
I think failing a Calculus test would not help me concentrate, so I quit for today...

Lol... this thread sounds so much like a back-and-forth conversation between stlunic and flipsta instead of a tourney thread... lol. Maybe cuz lots of people are pming scores not posting? I dunno.
