School has blocked FFR - Page 2

My school district is a little bit smarter than the rest, I guess.

Instead of just banning a crapload of websites, they simply uninstalled flash, shockwave, etc. any kind of embeddible media besides photos from their browsers. Students can't reinstall them because they're not authorized (won't let them).

So no youtube, ffr, etc. no games

My school has a firewall that prevents kids from seeing porn. Well, I can still see youtube and play FFR, which is cool.

Today, I found out they blocked the spinitup mirror for games. The Werewolf game and Arch0wl still work though.

They blocked EVERYTHING. Seems like it's happening in a lot of schools. FFR is blocked, but all the mirrors work. ctunnel is gone, youtube, miniclip, teagames, addictinggames...and worst of all...meebo. So sad.

my friend that sits next to me sees me playing it and says loudly. oh are you clicking some arrows. what website is that? archowl.com spelled with a zero? he also plays it and doesnt clear history and doesnt x out when the teacher comes over....

my teacher will most likely block it.

my school's never heard of FFR, but they have all image searches blocked and everything like miniclip and addictinggames too. Problem is, I can't play FFR anyway because it makes too much noise and people always wander over and exclaim loudly, "OMG WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING IS THAT DDR?!?!? I WANT TO PLAY"

Flourescent's and my school has like every thing blocked, mirrors and all. One day in comp. class, I tryed to go to one of those kitty sites, like disney. It was blocked!!! I think anything that some sort of image or chat thing in it is blocked. The only 2 sites it will let me on is google web search and dictionary.com

My school hasn't blocked FFR, and here's the funny part. We have a video game club that operates at lunch hours, and people go on THE TEACHERS LAPTOP and play FFR, and sometimes the teacher has free time and watches us. Funny though he hasn't banned it yet.

OH yea, there are a few people( i dont know the names) that can get past the censor that is so crappy that a dollar store would even buy it. You need a password that like everyone knows. I know this because I was on paint one day and looked to see if my recent saved pixel art on the school comps. was still there. THere was naughty pictures that I didnt want or need to see.

My computer teacher watches me play during my free time and she doesn't even care I'm using a mirror. Even my pschology teacher lets me play during our lab days as long as I did my week's work. There are, like, no restrictions so long as it's not porno and you don't use the main site for a game. All I have to do is Google around the filters to trick the Websense filters...

They blocked all of these tunnels at my school. I couldn't believe it when I stumbled upon a search string I use with Google to find proxies like this one though.

vtunnel.com is the same as ctunnel.com. I tried in school and they're both blocked.

my school hasnt blocked ffr but teachers check the history alot. and if they found out we were playing games theyd yell at all of us and give us a 20 minute lecture about how computers are supposed to be used.
