Re: Nice try, Peta.
The best part is that when they released Super Tofu Boy, Team Meat returned the favor by making Tofu Boy a cheat-locked character (code is "petaphile") in Super Meat Boy.

Re: Nice try, Peta.
Let me get this straight.
Making pokemon (fake animals) fight is wrong, but it is okay for the pokemon to attack the trainers? Makes sense.

Re: Nice try, Peta.
PETA probably does more to hinder any legitimate movements towards better treatment of animals than any other organization on the planet.
They are not respectable. They would be a funny joke if they didn't actually believe their own tripe. |

Re: Nice try, Peta.
I'm pretty sure they do these kind of things just to get attention, to get more people aware of them. They made the games to advertise their videos and get more people to like them. Something like that. Either that or they gave up on humanity and decided to troll everyone

Re: Nice try, Peta.
this actually changed my view on pokemon. before i use to think pokemon were equal to people in terms of relationships between both now i think pokemon are less than people and should be treated as the animals they are.

Re: Nice try, Peta.
The sad thing about this is that I totally see where they are coming from, they just did it in such a crazy way that it's impossible to take seriously. Kids do need to be taught that animals aren't objects and to treat them kindly but what the hell does that have to do with Pokemon?
I mean I guess Pokemon does sort of normalize the idea that animals are a commodity but it is so obviously fictional that even small children could never believe that this was an OK thing to do to a real animal. If PETA just took it down a few (well, maybe a lot of) notches and focused on this issue in a different way I'd totally be on board with it |

Re: Nice try, Peta.
Today I learned that all animal abuse on this planet can be linked to the fictional slavery from a Japanese game destined for children.
Thanks PETA for the info!
