My sister got caught stealing at Wal-Mart. Instead of talking to the police and potentially ratting out her ring of thieves, she opted for ritual suicide. It was the honorable way to die, rather than betray her sisterhood.

Re: Girl is Beaten and Has Head Shaved for Punishment
Ass whippings are definitely neccessary in todays society.
The problem is that kids aren't getting beat, and they're turning out to be crazy little sacks of illiteracy. For example: All Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Jerry Brudos needed, were a few good ass whippings. With that being said, shaving the head, was a little bit of an extreme. Seeing as she's probably going to be ridiculed for quite sometime in her social life, as she's now bald. Whatever the case, there's a line. Shaving the head, wasn't cool. The ass whipping, totally neccessary. Bet her ass won't steal again.

what's better between not doing something because you know the reasons why it's not good, or not doing something because you fear the eventual punishment? if you have enough confidence you can always try to avoid the punishment and do what's forbidden anyways. if you know exactly why something is detrimental, inefficient or plain stupid, you won't do that, period, regardless of any authority control. but yeah better keep beating asses because it's a never dying clichè and it does not require any effort whatsover! |

I for one think that teaching children to solve problems with violence and humiliation is a great idea.

Charlie Manson was routinely beaten as a child. And sodomized. His mom was a young hooker and you think that he wasn't beaten?

Re: Girl is Beaten and Has Head Shaved for Punishment
You're an idiot, Mollocephalus.
It's people like you, with your idiotic belief that any form of punishment or retalliation that's not in your interpretation of how it should be handled as "wrong", that leave me with no doubt what-so-ever, that the future is a ****ed place. -For starters, next time you try to make some powerful self assuring statement about why you're right and the rest of the world is sadistic and crazy for trying to better their children, maybe you should READ the post that I wrote. I in no way, implied that punishment by humiliation was right, or neccessary in this situation. As a matter of fact, I stated in that post that I didn't approve of it. -Secondly, YOUR mentality is what creates psychotic monsters. You're basically implying that consequences altogether, are wrong. Yet without consequence, what is crime? Needless to say, my belief is that because of todays society, some form of punishment is indeed neccessary. I hate people like you who constantly imply that it's wrong of the world, or harsh of a parent to correct their child..and while I agree that there is a limit, the world needs to stop being a bunch of over sensitive people who can't handle criticism. As for Mal, this is entirely off topic, but I thought I should perhaps share it with you anyways. I read a LOT. With that being said, Charles Manson, or "Charlie" was VERY briefly in the custody of his mother. As a matter of fact, he was primarily almost always in the care of his aunt and uncle, and as they were extremely religious, no, he was not beaten. When not with them, he was namely in boy reform schools and so forth. Just a tidbit for ya.

Re: Girl is Beaten and Has Head Shaved for Punishment
Uh, I know he spent almost his entire childhood in juvenile correctional facilities. And if you're under the impression that he did not suffer abuse there, then congrats, you're an idiot. As for religious people, there's no way they could be abusive, is there? Not a chance. I've never heard of a Christian bathing their child in chlorine because they thought he was 'unclean'. Horrific **** is carried out every day under the guise of 'religion', so don't even start.
I'm all for spanking a child when they're wrong - hell, my mom and dad made me drink milk that had been out for 6 hours with oreo bits in it becuase I forgot to dump it down the sink one time when I was 10, and I never made that mistake again - but that doesn't change the fact that at the time, it's barborous (I vomited. Twice).

Re: Girl is Beaten and Has Head Shaved for Punishment
I'm not at ALL implicating that he didn't suffer some form of abuse, and I'm the first person to call out the fact that religion is nothing more than a form of hypocriacy.
However, I don't believe that everyone should go around feeling bad for horrible people. No, it's not anyones fault of the circumstances that you are born into, but how you handle them in the latter side of life, is dependant upon your skills in the real world, and the real world, offers consequence. By the way, that milk story made me lol a little. I imagine it wasn't funny then, but to be honest, it was a very clever idea on your parents behalf. I imagine it tasted awful though.

Whenever I mess up at the policeman-officer station house, I usually have to buy everyone cake. My father caught me drunk driving, and I had to buy everyone Chunky Monkey Ice Cream for a month! Daaaaaadddd!
