Oldest stuff you've got?
I'm always curious which songs/stepfiles got saved from the early 2000's. What kind of files are still floating around out there?

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
I have a few files from pad charters like udderdude, emzarian (pre-ITG), mantis, etc. Easily 2004/2005. There are a few bemaniruler files out there too like A and Afronova. I should have a look when I get home, I have quite a few oldies sitting around.

Found some Eggman files and 2 files from Phynn. Probably my rarest ones, but then again I have hardly any files compared to most people

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
Anyone have any of those old Ayumi Hamasaki files?
I always remember being mesmerized by this Taskinillusion file because it weirded me out that it had no vocals, so I figured it was an instrumental. Turns out even the real thing has no vocals, either. For some reason I always found that mysterious, lol. |

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
I have an old Stepmania CD (at least 2005 but could be older) with pad songs I found nowhere else, mapped bad and sometimes offsync but they were hella fun.
Also there were some Ayumi Hamasaki

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
Oldest files I have are just KBMP files or old Mwerp originals from 2003, by the time I started playing and downloading files in 2005 virtually all of the old content from DWI era wasn't played or talked about at all anymore
"Rare" simfile is a silly idea because there were literally tens of thousands of files you could download from Bemanistyle and 98% of those files were absolute garbage and had like 10 downloads lol |

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
Yeah, most of the worthwhile stuff survived the test of time, save for a few small exceptions.
For example, the Angelfalls file that's included in most BemaniRuler bumper packs -- it's the completely wrong stepchart. I can't find the real one anywhere anymore. Last edited by Reincarnate; 04-4-2015 at 04:31 AM.. |

Re: Oldest stuff you've got?
The oldest -obscure- file I remember having before I went on super long hiatus that wasn't my own was tsutter's gaussian blur 2. That thing was garbage haha
