I recommend cutting the game down or passing on the torch to another host, before more people sign out. If you let someone else host their game instead, it means we can come back to this another time and hopefully get the full 17 player enjoyment out of it!

there's not really a precedent for a host passing on the game like this but uh
I'd much rather see this game trimmed down to 13 than passed on as it is what the most votes went to

yes the signups have stagnated for a while but this is the time of year when a lot of people are taking finals or studying for them so I think its just part of that cycle

if you REALLY want to pass it on then I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do so but by my reckoning the game has 12 signed up and could be run with 13 or 14, which I would much rather see.

I mean, if the host would rather wait till a time they can host the game with 17 people we should let them. It’s a bit of a bummer to put in the effort for a 17 player game then have to cut roles out to suit the player count. It’s probably much more possible in the next signups or ones after, when exams are over. Then we could get a 17 player game going so I think it makes sense to pass it over.

I really wish an authoritive figure would weigh in if they’d rather do complete revote or pass to 2nd place, as blindreper has said he’d like someone else to host, so I presume he would like the opportunity to host with 17 players.

I am said authoritative figure.

He is free to do what he wants. I talked to him privately and we agreed to rebalance it for a lower playercount (WiP, will be out by tonight though).

Nothing prevents him from putting the 17 player version of the game in signups later when there is more activity, and its something I personally would like to see happen.

But that is not incompatible with him running this game on a smaller scale right now.

Umbrella Corporation
1. Albert Wesker- When checked, you give back S.T.A.R.S alignment. You cannot make the night kill unless you are the last remaining employee. You have a 1-shot kill dodge in the night, and used automatically when targeted for death.*


2. William Birkin- You are a man of science. Once every other night, you may infect another player with the T-virus. After being infected for TWO DAY PHASES, when they are lynched, they "eat" the last voter killing them as well. You cannot kill and infect in the same night, even as the last alive. The infected do not know they are infected.

3. Red Queen- You are a force that is uncontended. You manipulate with such ease. In the night, you may select a player, and convince them to cease any actions they may be performing, "Blocking" their role.*



S.T.A.R.S.

1. Jill Valentine- You are great at knowing someones end game despite what they may say. During the night, you may listen in on another player. You will find out if they are S.T.A.R.S. or not S.T.A.R.S.

2. Leon Kennedy- The hero in shining armor, you protect others around you. During the night, you may hide another player so they cannot be targeted by other actions or make actions themselves. You CANNOT hide the same player twice in a row.

3. Chris Redfield- A town will be named Chris, but WILL NOT know that they are. (This is in order to keep Claire balanced in the smaller set up.

4. Claire Redfield- A woman with one objective, finding your brother, nothing stands in your way. During the night, you may shoot another player. If you shoot Chris Redfield, you cannot live with such a mistake, and kill yourself as well.* You have 2 shots to use.

5. Rebbeca Chambers- You are a young innocent S.T.A.R.S. member, and everyone will know so at the start of the game.


"The Organization"

1. Ada Wong- You care about no one but yourself, killing anyone who stands in your way. During the pregame phase, you may either choose 1-shot bulletproof, or seer as S.T.A.R.S.. During the night phases, you may kill another player.

I know who you are, I know its been a long, long time too. I think your last game was the one right before my first so I don't think we ever played together, but welcome back.
