how do i get tier points?

i do get confused because i see a lot of people with tier points. can somebody please explain how do i get tier points?

Total Points Earned are your total Tier Points from the list + a bonus that goes up to 50 (?) which is based on your total AAAs (including tokens!)

There's currently 195 token songs.
There's currently 1891 public songs.

So, 2086 songs.

In my case, 1805 / 2086 = 86.5% total AAAs = 37 / 50 bonus Tier Points.

You can lose tier points if new songs come out and it makes your AAA percentage go down.

It's the same thing as when you get a better score without a Full Combo.

I don't know the exact numbers for when you start getting bonus Tier Points, but I'm assuming you start getting bonus points at around 33% of total AAAs up to 100%.

I suggest finding out the x/4 songs at the bottom of the Tier Point list and trying to get the best score you can to try to get some points.
Getting Tier Points is still relatively hard and you will probably get a bunch of Full Combos and even AAAs before seeing your first one.

Once you reach a certain level, it will start moving up a lot faster ironically.
The logical progression is to go for Full Combos at first and AAAs if you can and you'll get there sooner or later.

There's also Tier Badges depending on how far you are on that progression.



Tier 0 = 1 point
Tier 1 = 200 points
Tier 2 = 500 points (!)
Tier 3 = 750 points
Tier 4 = 1000 points
Tier 5 = 1250 points
Tier 6 = 1450 points (?) (it's a margin because of the remaining 50 bonus Tier Points)

What I'm concluding from this;

- I do think Tier Points list should also show how many goods equals the "raw score" which is the goal. I'm pretty sure that's not very user friendly.

- There's a value behind getting AAAs on as many songs as you can if you really really want Tier Points.

- Tier Points are mostly here to give you a sense of progression when you can Full Combos and AAA many songs.

- There's players who are not really interested into grinding AAAs so, they tend to simply play the hardest songs to make Tier Points move up really fast.

I think it's an interesting feature for evaluating how someone is playing this game.

Kudos if anyone remember the real numbers, I'd probably have to ask again because it's not asked very often.
