Did Franz write that without line breaks?

Re: An excerpt from Franz Kafka's "The Trial"
No, the format just changed due to the copy/paste. This was a dialogue between the main protagonist Joseph K. and an unnamed priest. This aforementioned dialogue quaintly summized a theme in the book that I believe has significant meaning.
The rest of the book is incredibly difficult to read imo, not because of diction or vernacular used, just because of the infuriating story format and consistently inconsistent themes and mixture of absurdity and warped reality.

Kafka is one of my favorite writers. I love The Trial. The Castle is my favorite story of his. I would suggest reading it if you enjoy kafka.
