Yeah, if we have the original files we can just reconvert. But personally I'd rather just manually fix the note colors, so the framers don't change at all. And I'd be willing to do this if you guys want.

I'm pretty happy that this is getting attention (legacy files). I'd always like to see a "what this song should've been" version without the weird converter screwups like in RE and P4U v1, etc.

I couldn't find anything wrong with Destiny. It's not of the correct era to have issues either. If you're talking about the similar song Delirium, then yes Delirium is DEFINITELY wrong.

EDIT- Einstein-Rosen Bridge LOOKS wrong but am I correct in assuming that it is another case of BPM changes? The red-yellow-red in places is awfully fishy.

The R-Y-R changes are a result of the song's time signature (it switches to 7/8, which is also the reason why it goes R-Y-R instead of R-Y-B, as landing on a blue would make it BNS for a bit).

OK - so what songs do we want fixed? I'd personally say any song with miscolored arrows (e: from conversion errors, not purposeful choices by the stepfile artist) is technically a legacy song, so I'd like someone else's opinion on which ones are new enough to be fixed.

I always assumed the very end was supposed to be all red to make it more challenging.

Yeah, that's all Silvuh. I think the weird color notes are supposed to highlight the foreground melody.

I think NeoMAX might just go up to a dickspeed high BPM causing the red note syndrome instead of a conversion error. Hence why I flagged it with the asterisk.

Domani seems to be genuinely converted wrong but I'm not sure if it is fixable.

I would be all for custom note colouring in special songs. Perhaps to separate different instruments in specific parts. It would add some flavour to it.

Some simfile artists already do this - ERB was a great example (although nobody but me liked that chart). And there's another queued file called Kono spoon, suteki desu ne which is both full of color note tricks, and awesome. It definitely does add some flavor to files
