(that reminds me v-ormix, we should collab sometime. my CBR alias has been kind of on a hiatus because I am more focused on making beats and house recently, instead of experimental, atmospheric break shit haha)

One of the great things about remixing is you can change the overall chord progression as long as the vocals are still in the same key, try experimenting with some different chords after the 1st chord in the sequence

Also, you can chop and cut the sample of the vocals and add delay/reverb to certain parts of it to make it sound cooler using abrupt automation clips

This is awesome though

stuff for the cd i've started working on. still working on the mixing, but this is starting to sound pretty good to me. only problem is the guitars are so fat there's hardly any room for the drums. I'll work on it.

This is amazing o: I try to pull from emotions too only most of the time it takes to much work to make my "vision" happen so I end up just making the whole project experimental at times. But you should pull from you emotions all the time 8)

It's really fun but occasionally challenging to draw from current thoughts / emotions or past experiences etc, but yeah I usually end up happy with the results much more so than "let's make a break track / lets make a dance track".
