Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
So anyways, my friend is bugging me to play this game of his since I got him to play Cabal. He's quit since, meaning I might inherit all his stuff, and the only thing has that's worth anything to me is his money. However, the problem is that this game is one I've played before, Maple Story on a private server with increased xp rates, and even with the increased xp rates, I fail to see how I'm going to find this any more interesting than it was last time. Apparently half the things that could have got me playing aren't working as well, 3rd jobs aren't out, some of the maps I want to go to aren't out, and half the buddy functions aren't working as well.

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
hahahahahaha
Since the live version of the game more people have begun crashing. Including Premium users (who I might add have huge advantages in many areas.) Btw, 4 patches and 6 home remedies later, I'm still crashing on my laptop. At least everyone else is beginning to

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
The US version of Cabal has VERY low quality graphics. In the gameplay trailers the game looks good only because its the European version of the game and the korean kills it more with the graphics that version has. Hopefully when they make graphics better I might start playing again. Got to level 51 Warrior then stopped.

When I played it, truthfully I was surprised since this is my first downloaded MMO game I have. The graphics look waaaay better on the trailers though; however, I concluded that it looked better because of the resolution the tape played on. I may still be wrong because I may have looked at the U.S. trailer. [/confusion] By the way, FPS sucks. Lag + Overcrowding = FAIL. D: I still like it though just because of the attack skills; they pwn. EDIT: You can still ENHANCE your graphics via options. Zennixx, you may have left it at default and have not manipulated it yet. Go try it if you haven't, but beware the cost of FPS you'll pay. Or download a graphic card thing. EDIT2: If anyone has seen the recent updates on the home page of the game, could you explain to me what patches are and how I would replace them? Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
So has everybody either quit the game entirely or quit the FFR guild? Most times I'm on I'm the only one, and I know you guys aren't playing when I'm not around because I was one of the last to make my character and now I'm 3rd highest in the guild. What gives? D=

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
Yea, pretty much everyone quit. Whoever was in the guild stopped playing once people got banned (I too) without giving us a clear reason why. Even though we were exploiting the dummies, it was not against the rules.
Now the CABAL is out of Beta, there are a lot of new high level maps and Cash Shop items to be bought. This game would still be a great MMO, but the users in the FFR guild are almost dead. |

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
I think I've stopped for good because of lack of interest. It was fun up till the point where I was unable to play it everyday. And the fact my friends quit.

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
I still play actually. But again, the creators have still yet to come up with a working variation for my laptop. Thus I can only play on weekends.
Also, I'm slowly getting fed up with these quests. Though dungeons may be great, I never would have thought I'd hear myself say, I can't risk it. And I say this not because I'm afraid to die, but rather, I don't know if I want to spend the 20-30 minutes to beat a dungeon if it is of the 45 minute variety. All that being said however, I play when I can. I know G.I.R.L (lol) still plays, as does Xanden. MinaciousGrace plays (in arrogance however) and I see a couple others on from time to time (koreandragon, but he is about to head to a different guild). Oh I saw Freakysnots on too

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
That's me, in case you hadn't realized. =P
Anywho, since I'm one of the very few people with any sort of activity, it'd really be good if I could be a + member in the event that somebody wants to join. I can guarantee I won't leave, since I don't know anybody in the game aside from you FFR players. =P Sad thing is, I don't even see neko playing anymore, so it's not likely that she or nestle would be on to even know to promote me, so right now our guild is kinda a fixed size. =\

I'm also not against making a new clan if you want. I mean we can pool together our money to do it if this guild is going to die. Perhaps make it open to others other than FFRers.

Re: Cabal (not the old arcade game)
You guys can join the one I made as long as you guys continue to play :P We're only 4 in the guild so far, just me DarkStar, my buddy ChaosArrow and my girlfriend's level 5 character lol.
DarkStar and I play whenever we get the chance. We're both in Port Lux now so we can craft and find good stuff do whatever..we even partied in Ghostship quest too, it was fun.
