The Express
The Express- True story based on first African-American Heisman winner Ernie Davis starring Rob Brown as Ernie Davis and Dennis Quaid as Syracuse's head coach Schwartzwalder.
I had the honor of watching this movie at a screening tonight as well as meeting Dennis Quaid prior to the movie. It was another football movie to say the least, hell I'd go so far as to say it was Remember the Titans all over again, but with that statement I'd also have to digress and say that it goes a little deeper. I won't go any further than this to avoid spoilers but I give it a solid 7.5/10. I'd give it an 8, but that'd just be because I love Dennis Quaid |

Re: The Express
I know a lot of people who were in that movie. They were all extras, but they said that it was a cool experience. I loved this one joke they started to make, or at least I think it was a joke, about how some of them would go early to smoke with Quaid. Anyways the joke turned into how Quaid trys to trick little kids into his van with candy and puppies.
Enough of that, I probably wont see the movie until it comes out on OnDemand or whatever. |
