Re: TWG Turbo IX - Postgame
I guess the point is there's the "good" play which is shooting the counterwagon
anything that's outside of that can be considered "bad" because it's non-optimal. if I hadn't dug myself out town would've been 2 mislynches so f5 with no confirms which is pretty rough

to my understanding, there's more than one existing school of thought regarding optimal vigi strats. which means it's definitely subjective. I will say, I myself am basically in the camp of "shoot every night, and shoot the remaining players who are most widely scumread at the time." but I don't think saying "shot was bad, vigi was bad" over and over in a postgame helps people reading the postgame learn more about playing the game, nor does it encourage spectators who haven't played before to want to start playing. (just my opinion here.) |

Re: TWG Turbo IX - Postgame
I mean, yeah, I get shooting your personal scum reads is a good thing too, but I think as a Vigi, you have to think about how other players are perceiving others at the moment imo.
So your shots should give the most info to the most players... I feel. So... With that, personally, I probably would've shot AA because it fits that (and was a scum read regardless) But if AA was not a scumread, I would choose someone who I feel was either null or scum in the group of people that voted for the flipped town. Boom boom, badda-ding. |

Re: TWG Turbo IX - Postgame
Eh, I would never consider this option in this setup. I mean it's there, but I would never consider it.

Re: TWG Turbo IX - Postgame
if you don't shoot at least once as vigi then town gets put into mylo instead of lylo which is shitty
making a 2nd shot can be discussed a lot more if that's good, because if all deaths initially are town you go from 8/2 -> 5/2, and a mislynch + wolf kill + vigi on town is game over right then.
