When does a TWG end?
I thought this was pretty clear, but apparently it's not. In the original TWG I signups it said that the game is over when the wolves have more or equal numbers compared to the humans. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...wtopic&t=18844
However, certain people (Tass) say that the game ends only when the wolves outnumber the humans. So, if it's a tie, the game keeps going. I for one think that's ridiculous. So I figured I would ask everybody their thoughts. This really needs to be cleared up, just so we know in future games. And if you lock this, that just shows your unwillingness to even try to be fair. This topic will not have served its purpose until every TWC member replies and states their case and we officially resolve this.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

RE: When does a TWG end?
If wolves equals humans at night, humans win.
If wolves equal humans during the day, game continues. Wolves > humans at night, well duah.

eb... ::sigh:: I expect more from you.
I explain the reasons, clearly, to SEVEN different people in jTWG.... and yet more and more people keep IMing me telling me i'm WRONG. Want to know something? I wrote the rules. I am not wrong. And, I updated it to be VERY clear: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...=316374#316374

RE: When does a TWG end?
one wolf and one human in daytime is played fiferently everywhere...
Some people call it a tie, although I feel this is incorrect. Some call it a wolf win (the assumption being thats since no one can get a plurality vote, no one dies during the day and then the wolf wins at night) Some call it a random who wins(which seems to be the idea sponsored here based on the knife-in-box scenario... each one will vote for the other, and then knife-in-box would determind the winner) So it seems that under the rule set we use, it should be random, since we use knife-in-box to determine lynches during ties... Personally, I think wolf win makes more sense, but that would alter the way we do all rounds, so it is my opinion that for games here, it shoudl be a random choice, and therefore game GOES on during the day of 2 H vs 2 W

RE: When does a TWG end?
One last thing.... all of you god damn idiots were quoting Chardish's rule from the beginning of TWG1.
But, none of you bothered to see how TWG1 played out... because, oh... thats right... you WEREN'T PLAYING TWG YET. Well, as I played in TWG1, and this directly effected me as a wolf in that game... I clearly remembered it. Check page 12: Quote:

RE: When does a TWG end?
Wolves = humans in the middle of the day goes to a tie-breaker (assuming the vote is tied at the end of the day). If you want to understand it intuitively, assume the host's character is also present and is a human. Tadah, humans outnumber wolves.
