Just for general reference I see 4 images in this thread using Tapatalk to browse the forums
edit: and now on desktop I see one. Definitely an issue with vBulletin or whatever controls displaying of image css/html on the forums. Tapatalk does not have the issue. above are some tests to try to determine the issue. What I've concluded: It's not the fact there are . within the title name, and it's also not a problem with the internal code regarding image uploading / storage. It's purely vBulletin (or whatever controls the max length of an img string) as I get a broken image on the forums when linking a photo with an extra lengthy title from my own site.
