Re: The Hunt for the Lamest Anime
I think neither of those shows really classify as anime.

Any of them.

Re: The Hunt for the Lamest Anime
I checked and it has said that not all animation in the West is considered anime. Which make anime fall in a subset of animation. So there is a possibility I suppose that anime can be created in the U.S, but if not then I'm sorry for mentioning it.

dun and verr:
Congratulations, you consider an entire genre of entertainment to suck without looking at it objectively. I mean, I say I hate Rap music, but I like some of it. I say I hate American television, but I like some of it. There's no conceivable way you could hate every single anime ever made. Pick one. That's what this thread is about. |

Re: The Hunt for the Lamest Anime
Musashi Gundoh is AWESOME.
However, Gigantor is pretty lame. But I think it can get away with it for being so old. Megas XLR was a sort of satire/parody of anime. And bloody fantastic. the hack/sign stuff is pretty boring, but I found Lain to be even more boring. All that ever happens is BORING STUFF and there's no background music, making it a very unemotional show. But there has to be worse stuff out there, guys. Keep trying. |

Re: The Hunt for the Lamest Anime
Neon Genesis Evangaleon was a great show but the ending completely destroyed the show.Worst Ending ever in my opinion.

If anything, it has somewhat of a redeeming factor just for that. ps guido, I personally hated both of the Evangelion endings, so the question in my case is moot. However, I'd never consider Evangelion to be the worst anime ever. Not when there are shows like Inuyasha for that. Oh, and Ai Yori Aoshi. |

Re: The Hunt for the Lamest Anime
As long as you're not sarcastic, fine.
If you are sarcastic, well, obviously you didn't like Dragon Ball Z. If you were watching Canadian television and came across a television show you didn't like, would you incessantly flame the show and continue to watch it just to see how bad it really is, or would you flip around until you found something you liked? |
