I used to live in Tampa. I think you forgot to mention Hurricane season though, which rapes Florida almost every year. I miss it there though... I really can't stand cold weather at all.

I remember when we moved here, I was in 6th grade... and my gym teacher had us run a mile in FREEZING cold weather, in the rain, and without any coats on. It fricken' sucked. I was so cold I couldn't breathe and I was the last one to return to the school cause I had to slow down considerably... I was shaking from head to toe. I was not used to the weather here at that point obviously... and it was almost winter. I think it snowed that year too.

I'm still not used to it though, after 6 years.

I hate going outside in the winter. And it's been raining a lot lately too which annoys the crap out of me. I can seriously cover myself up in 5 blankets and go to sleep all nice and warm and wake up shivering and sick. I don't belong here! xD and this weather would probably feel like summer to a lot of you Canadians.. which makes it even more pathetic that I'm so sensitive to it.

It's currently about 0 degrees here and I am freezing my ass off whenever I go outside. I can't imagine -45. I think it only gets to about -20 here sometimes....

oh, we had a fire alarm go off at school on friday. it was a technical malfunction, but the alarms automatically went off which means that the fire department is required to turn off the alarm before we can go in. it was like 25F out and if you didn't have any friends to cuddle up with then you were basically screwed.

I was a dumbass over the weekend and didn't think to cover up my neck knowing I'd be walking around in the freezing cold around midnight and driving people home (Friday in NY), and woke up to the unpleasantness of sickness and puking around 8:30 AM saturday. What a lovely beginning to my weekend!

No way in hell you're getting -50F in Michigan. I'm in Ontario (Sudbury) Which is more north than you and we can get up to -45C without windchill.

Nah. Here in Pinellas county the hurricanes never hit. It's always predicted and never actually happens. Something always ends up tossing it way off course. As for the rest of Florida, i suppose you're right. I've just come to ignore the hurricanes because they never touch us. All we get is some minor wind and the torrential downpours, which i love anyway.
