What he's talking about is that there are people who can not or will not subscribe to that philosophy.

I personally agree that the one thing I ask for myself, after my family and my religion, is fun. Fun is the point of existing on a physical level, in my humble opinion.

But on a mental, communal, and spiritual level, one has the obligation to help others reach that point, which is what Laharl is pointing out.

Is there realy a point in life, or are we just a result of evolution with no real purpose...

I'm not even going to go there. I could ramble on and on how life is meaningless... pretty depressing....

Does everything have to turn into extreme offtopicness the second it's posted?

You know two posts ago, where you said something about how you're unpopular at school? That's why.

Lol and no, that's not a flame, its a joke. You take shit seriously like that, people arn't gonna get you.

And I was joking, BTW.

I'll tell you what life is about.

Life is about surviving. Life is about prospering. Life is about making all the right choices.

Life as a House is about Kevin Kline finishing his dream home before he succumbs to cancer.

But the first three are more relevent.

I'm unpopular at school because I'm unpopular at school. *evil grin*

Fringe people stay there. Look around at a high school sometime. The people that enter without any friends leave with very few. I went to Bonanza without a sould to care for me, so I had no one to introduce me to anyone else. Everything I've got in the social realm, I've had to carve with my own hands. Every relationship I have, I created through time and effort.

I do tend to take a lot of things seriously, especially when it's written. Does mood translate through the boards well? I didn't think so.

Hey, being a fringe guy isn't all bad.

The most amusing thing is watching the 'in crowd' detonate all over themselves because they didn't have the foresight to look past thier nose.

Hmm, as far as I interpret the school social structure, it goes: inner circle, outer circle and outcasts. Theres a lot of sub-groups in the outer circle, but meh.

Inner circle is like preps, jocks, mostly idiots.
Outer circle is just about everyone else, can be pretty popular, but not to the extent as the inner circle, or could have no friends, but no one perticularly hates you.
Outcasts are people no one likes, get beaten up, etc.

I'm in the outer circle, yay for me.

There are some cool < 14 users on this board, but a very small number.

I'm cool because I just am. No questions needed.

Your avatar is too blurry, so you are automatically un-cool.

Heres my nice little idea on "cool"

no one is "cool" there is only acceptance.

if you arn't accepted then you arn't "cool" there is no acual cool there is only uncool

also I give you example #16 of phrases used to make someone appear cool, but really make them stupid

Ten bucks says "Life" is just something created by some higher being. And the meaning of life is just to find out what the meaning of life is.....wouldnt that just be totally whack?
