Re: FFR's Next Polymath
i won't donate credits to anyone. it just isn't fair.
and to you guys... running a tournament with mental puzzles is tough. coming up with creative and challenging riddles is not easy. i know this first hand. rubix knows this, devonin knows this... i'm sure jon knows this. you need to be a really smart person to do it well, as well as have creative ideas. just a fair warning. i'm sure jon can testify to my statements too... as well as how hard it is just to run one well, keeping it updated and active... as well as balancing the points.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
ditto to the mentals. I could have probably created much much better ones, but I had lots of homework... + I tend to procrastinate this to the last minute.... + I wasted wayyy to much time on the website, especially when the javascript screwed up... so sorry tass I didn't have much time (only around 20 minutes) to come up with an idea and develop it. Otherewise, word or number puzzles (devon) or just plain random puzzles that are much harder I would be able to come up with....

I'm sorry this tournament did not really meet your tastes. I hope it pleased the majority. How about this: I'll treat you to a bottle of E-wine some other time ;P And good luck guys on your tourney.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
the tournament was fine. my only complaints could be that the mentals weren't really puzzles in a lot of cases... but i tried to make them as amusing as i could. that you didn't always think through the point distributions. and that i wish there had been more competition.
in the scheme of it, it was solid overall. i'd say a B or B+.

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
yeah I wish there was a lil more competition also
Im not the best at games but I came in 4th lol 3rd without tass, but that to me means tass is the main competition and if we dont get close to his scores we are not trying as much as we could be |

Re: FFR's Next Polymath
unless you get Rubix or Smartdude (maybe) or a hacker that doesn't get found out *cough*gabgabo*cough* then maybe tass will go down... but he won't go without a fight! - Watch out for his drunken fists xD
