I know its old but Jak and Daxter for the ps2 was really fun. If you have not played it before I would really recommend it.

Re: So, really bored here, need help with Games.
I don't play RPGs at all... Mainly 2D shooters and platformers. Let's remember the classics:
Ufouria (NES), Gun Nac (NES), Contra Hard Corps (GEN), Gunstar Heroes (GEN), Rocket Knight Adventures (GEN), Alien Soldier (GEN), Atomic Runner (GEN), Dynamite Headdy (GEN), Sinistar (mame), Splatterhouse (mame), Mushihime-sama (and other classic Cave shooters from hell) Einhander (PS) Barney's Hide and Seek (GEN) Beatmania (mame) U.N. Squadron (SNES) Eco Fighters (mame) Armed Police Batrider (mame) Mars Matrix (mame) GigaWing 2(mame) Metal Slug (mame) and finally, the obvious duo, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu (NES), tied with The Legend of Kage (NES) For RPGs, all I can think of is: Final Fantasy 7 Chrono Trigger Earthbound Pokémon Super Mario RPG ... Bet you played them all T_T Last edited by MarioNintendo; 03-16-2011 at 10:25 PM.. |

Re: So, really bored here, need help with Games.
Foilman - LoD is one of the best RPG's that was ever created, but to me FF7 takes the cake in best game produced, with LoD being in a very tight 2nd. I have both those games on my PSone emulator and can't get enough of either of them.
So far I'm still not excited about any games mentioned here. I don't know why.... but the new Golden Sun game I was thinking about playing. Not sure if I wanna download the DS again or not |

Re: So, really bored here, need help with Games.
Disgaea - It's available on the PS2, PSP, and DS. The portable versions have some extra content. I'd suggest the PSP version since the graphics and sound are dumbed down on the DS version (though the DS version has some exclusive characters, but that's about it)
The Disgaea series is Strategy RPG stuff. Uses grid based battling. It's not an action RPG, but characters can go up to level 9999, weapons can be leveled, and there are a crap-ton of items. The post-game is the biggest part of the game (though the storyline itself is I think 14 chapters long). Disgaea 2 is available on the PS2 and PSP. Disgaea 3 is on the PS3, and Disgaea 4 is on the PS4 (not yet released outside of Japan yet, but North America should get it this Summer). Borderlands - FPS with some light RPG elements (skill tree and a veritable crap-ton of weapon variations across multiple types of weapons). Storyline isn't the greatest, but you can play online co-op with up to 3 other people. It's on Steam if you like. On the PS3 and 360 as well. I think it's actually an OnLive title too. Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale - Part shop management, part dungeon crawler. The idea is to make enough money every week to pay off a debt, the payments go up every week. You can either buy items from the market or customers and re-sell them in your shop to make the money, or go dungeon diving to get items that way. It's available on Steam.

Re: So, really bored here, need help with Games.
I have been really bored lately despite having 100's of games on my computer. I have started posting on my blog again. Maybe you could make one and post about some videos games each day, seeing as how many games you have played.

No I don't have an xbox haha.
And, Izzy, that's not a bad idea. You mean to "Re-play" the games I have and post videos? |

Re: So, really bored here, need help with Games.
Did you ever end up trying out Bayonetta (I think you can get this for ps3 or computer?) or Blue dragon? Lol
Another great RPG is Lost Odyssey, fantastic game for xbox 360 Two worlds you can possibly get for the computer if im not mistaken?...and Borderlands (If its for computer to) Edit: Just realized you don't have a 360......In that case, as far as roms go and stuff...SUPER MARIO RPG FTW! Lol, such a good game.
