Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
Ouch... That was a brutal pack...
Sidenote, hey guys, I got bored and made a card design. It's less TCG-styled, and more just trading-card-styled but meh: Front: (Screenshotted section of the chart) Back: (Details and written blurb) Size is 225 px by 315 px which is the size of an actual trading card. Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
I don't necessarily think that a front and back is something that is needed. But I'm in love with that concept you have for "back" as being the card itself.
That being said, graphics of any sort would have to be a side-project should a group of individuals get really motivated to work on it.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
Keep in mind, I'm a collector of things like this:
This is why I said it's more trading-card styled, and not so much TCG. EDIT: I'm also wanting to see if I could somehow print it (I know it's possible), thus why a front and back. Last edited by T-Force; 03-7-2015 at 04:25 PM.. |

Set it to 1x speed so we can shave more notes into it. And have around X printings that are all unique. (Let's say a 2:00 song has 40 printings, each with 3 seconds of notes on them) Each card is now unique and has their own trade value to them (Gotta collect that Death Wall version of Vertex Beta Vrofl). ~This will take infinite effort and memory unless you can somehow build a card engine that pulls pictures off the actual game and just automatically makes card backs with something like [Excite Bike - 0:03~0:06] as the code and it'll pull up the back as a generated image and the front being a static one explaining Excite Bike. (Bonus points if we have more than 1 trivia fact for the front and those get cycled too) >Purely as a trading card standpoint.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
I don't like the idea for having a screenshot of arrows as the front.
also,

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
The cards would be a lot easier to make if they simply filled in the song's values into a template (such as song name, length, difficulty, etc). Designing a new card for every song would just get crazy.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
The part I think that people are over-thinking are graphics on a card or a picture graphic relating to the song located on the card, which would require an image for each song in-game. (~2500+)

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
The way I would implement a template -> image converter would be way more complicated and convoluted than someone who actually knows how to program's method. I'll sit back on this one.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
Things you did before this challenge was issued obviously don't count.

Let's do a Gamble Plus pack this time. Scroll all the way to the right for credit count in all 10 songs.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
So basically (asking for those who do plan to get a token out of this) You send "Last 10 FFR Games Played" enough times until you rack up 2000 credits? Considering the cap's at 120, which means the max you can get in 10 songs is 1200.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
Can we amount to 2,000 over differnt days? I have 501 collected here, can I post later with the other 1,500? And just a quality pack i guess.

Re: FFR Trading Card Game (C8)
Another challenge down! It's a bit late though so I'll do the token portion of it another time. As always, hit me with the horde pack! Can't have enough of that lower level content.
