It's mostly with files that you play too many times. I tried unlocking scarhand on nainai and got some goods at hard spots. After playing it 30+ times, I suddenly couldn't get through the intro anymore. I watched the replay and there didn't seem to be any reason, speed- or patternwise, for me to get 2 or 3 goods on it and I tapped the patterns without the music without any problem, but 9 out of 10 times, I would again screw up that intro that posed no problem at all in the first 30 or so tries. That is a mindblock.

What does it feel like? It's very frustrating, especially when you mindblock simple patterns, because you feel like a retard without the power to get back to normal. It's like the arrows are dudes you hang out with, but some of them suddenly turned into sexy chicks and you just stand there drooling and stammering whenever they pass you by.

It's basically a weird condition for people who don't use shuffle/random at all that they get mindblocks because they rely too much on muscle memory. rip
