Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
I have a request. Could you please change rotate back to how fast it spins on the other beta engine? It's way too slow now lol.

You were playing an unfinished build, it was never intended to be that way. Though I know how to adjust the speed. It depends on the work involved.

Any chance of adding the options to filter out AAAs/FCs planned?

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
I just switched from the Legacy.swf to this R^3 for the first time, and it's a little difficult to match the flow from Legacy. Here is what it seems to me: The playing chart seems longer than that of Legacy, so it'll just take some time to get used to, also first time having to use offsets not for songs, but for the entire engine itself to set it up the way Legacy worked.
~I am currently playing on a Mac laptop as well, which may result in other results. Also for fellow Mac users, I had to use Judge Offset = 2 and Sound Offset = 1 to get the judge to match correctly with my timing. Hope that helps!

Intro to R^3
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=137914 Mainly aimed at people coming from Velocity engine, but the tips are always useful, some of them being tips for fine-tuning your offsets in the thread. The offsets will be different for each person, as it depends on their computer and network connection. Hope this helps! |

Do "No Background" mod scores save now? The "ready" text is... bleh, imo. |

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
man, so no those old P4U v2, LI, zelda, etc... AAAs are meaningless now. well, i guess i'll always know I beat them the original way
Also, i noticed colors changed, notably Good, and we can now change colors ourselves. Not sure how to get the color i want, does anyone have settings to mimic the original FFR colors? or where i can go to find the palettes?

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
It looks like R^3 is getting used by default now, or at least it's what I seem to be running at the moment, so I'll ask this here. When looking at the options, I noticed a lot more than I remember, including a Game Volume setting, which defaults to 1. On my computer, that's rather loud with my usual volume settings, so I tried something lower -- around 0.2 or 0.25 seemed to work nicely for me. However, that setting doesn't seem to be sticking. At least some changes are sticking though, because I changed my speed mod from 1.5x to 2x and it's still at 2x. The volume keeps going back to 1 for some reason. I would like to be able to set the volume lower than the default and have that setting retained across sessions, page refreshes, browser restarts, etc. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? And if it's the latter, can someone tell me what I need to do to get the setting to stick? Thanks!

If everything else is storing, I'd say it was probably an oversight on the part of the developers when setting up storing things to include that. PM arcnmx and let him know, I bet it's an easy fix.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
Is it possible to implement an option where if you get more goods than your last run on that song it automatically ends the song? I know it sounds like a weird thing to implement, because you can just reset the song yourself, but it would be a nice QoL change.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 6/5/14]
Reverse Mod in flash player 9 causes the song to load but the game soft locks into a black screen. Might be worthwhile to restrict it to flash player 10 and up.
