So yeah. It's finally done. Finally. After months of work. I'm very, very proud of this one. |

Yeah, this needs to not be ignored by any stretch of the imagination.
This is stellar. The way that the strings work, the drums, the gabber kick near the end, absolutely stellar. Nothing is too loud, nothing is too soft. Everything is mixed right. I'm floored. Great work. |

You really think it's mixed well? I always felt certain parts were a bit too quiet for their own good, so I'm glad that the mixing turned out well. Paid special attention to that while making this.
Seriously, thanks for that comment. Really made my morning. |

You know, the part from around 1:45 to 4:48 were kind of boring and repetitive, I was like "Is this the whole track? ):". But, when the track "came back" with that drums and reverb, I was glad that I had wait a little more. Nice job there, man.

Re: [Breakcore] Padlock - Edit (Padlock Remix)
I remember commenting on the "first half" some time ago. Now hearing the second half, absolutely awesome man. 8) My only beef is that I feel like there should be some kind of link from the "first" to the "second" part, it kind of feels like there's just a gap there that throws me off personally. That's my opinion though.
This was made in Renoise btw, right? Great job once more. 8)

I like it. A little repetitive, but it takes skill to make stuff like this.

Re: [Breakcore] Padlock - Edit (Padlock Remix)
Wow! Lots of reviews. So on the three sites I've posted this on, the most common two criticisms I'm getting are:
1: Somewhat lack of connection between the two major "sections" of the song. 2: Acid bass buildup is too long. Anyway, @Xayphon: Thanks! @PhaeL: Patience pays off eh? That part is somewhat intentionally repetitive in melody and synth work as I was trying to do a sort of "back-off" and then "build up" structure. @DarkbearX: So yeah, as I said earlier, getting a lot of that. I'll keep it in mind next time I do a song like this. And yes, made in Renoise. @Zageron: Thanks for listening. I agree, especially in places like the ending of the song, and the strings during the "glitch-hop" section. All in all, I'm glad to be done with this one. It puts me one step closer to releasing my EP! |

Sick as hell, everything is perfect about this song, the violins, the breaks, everything. I love it!
