Default /DJS\ - Turn It Up (Short Edit)

http://soundcloud.com/thegraham/djs-...-up-short-edit

Name: Turn it Up (Short Edit)
Genre: UK Hardcore
Length: 2:41

Background: I attempted to take the four chord progression that everyone loves so dearly and shove some life back into its dying and decrepit sphincter. It's missing the intro, but I'm fine with it in this state.

FLP/Wave/MP3 available upon request.

Great song. No criticisms here, except for maybe the song as a whole seems overcompressed maybe? Not sure how to describe it, but it might or might not have been intended. In any case, I like it!

loved it. the only thing is something with the piano. i don't know music well so it might be what kgz said. but there's just some noise with the piano that makes it "different".

Looks like it's time to invest in another piano plugin. Any suggestions, Jimmy?

Your low is muddied a bit too much, or it just might be the compression loss on the audio stream.. And there just doesn't seem to be muh mid range or high. The piano isn't really an issue, I think. It adds charm to the track.

A lot of it is the compression that soundcloud does. The wave sounds just fine.
