Re: 8th Official FFR Tournament - Round 2!
I'm gonna copy paste my first impression review:
Round 2: Song: Oops Score: N/A Notes: This chart is like the drunken one night stand you had with that horrendously fat chick who broke your bed just by sitting on it, but you fucked her anyways because you were just that wasted. One night stands with ladies like that aren't cool, and this chart isn't either. I'll be digging my way out of the fat rolls as it feels like she rolled on top of me in my sleep. I'll probably die due to lack of oxygen. The price I pay for drinking though! |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
D6 song's ending is unneccessary. When a song's over, let it stop.
Everything's good though.

Oops was really fucking fun does that mean I like one night stands (oops)
Big fan of Beautiful Arrhythmia though because I always enjoy some SessileNomad + iironiic sex orgies. |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
Really liked Oops aside from the ending which just felt so unnecessarily jarring compared to the rest of the file. >.>

I'm thinking I might have to stay with a blackflag
man those jacks at the end are brutal. I'm not a jack person. |

Also: "what the hell is up with the jack files for D5" -- this is only the second round and this isn't jack-heavy up until the ending. |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
JS is standard though. Songs are defined by how they deviate from it. This song is primarily jacks. And minijacks are jacks too :P
Forget speedcore though, I want some bursty breakbeat crap next round.

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
I will throw my desktop through a window if I get mindblocks on the beginning .-.
I absolutely love the D6 chart though. If I can't improve, I hope 2 clean will do. |

Re: Official Tournament Round 2 Song Discussion
It's not just jacks and jumpstream either. It's got some tricky little bursts, some rollish junk and really tricky transitions. It tests way more than just jacking skill. You put me up against a true jack file like Club I fail miserably, I bet you by the end of this round I'll have a decent score on Oops because it's technical as hell.
