I think I've discovered Brazil's primary weakness on defense: Their goalkeeper's tendency to run at the ball. Uh, yeah, dude, that only works in ice hockey because of how small the net is in proportion to the goalie.

I don't think most of the goals Brazil let in happened while Julio Cesar was off the line more than a foot.

Their primary weakness on defence has been "They depend far too much on Thiago Silva, and making David Luiz try to be a defender and a striker at the same time, when they don't have Neymar to score all their goals"

And I honestly think Julio César was the best player on the whole Brazil defense, the rest was pretty much what devonin said.

Sadly, with Germany still to play, Neuer has a better chance to pull the Golden Glove award, which I'd really like see go to Keylor Navas, because man, did Costa Rica play some spectacular football. Part of the reason I want Argentina to win is that it gives Navas a better chance.

Also, I'm pulling for James Rodriguez for Golden Ball, and he's currently in the lead for Golden Boot.
