Re: Numi's First Tournament
I find this extremely unfair and totally contradictory to the statement: "There will be ONE DIVISION! since this really doesn't require too much skill at all."
This requires an immense amount of skill. I'm pretty sure I can't even come close to a AAA with those mods. |

Re: Numi's First Tournament

I liked things like the first round, where you got a random score and attempted to get as close to that one. |

Re: Numi's First Tournament
oh and numi dont say something like 'yeah the tournies about who gets the closest to an AAA...'
cause i got this: which pretty much prooves that ubers like sprite will def make it in and noobers like me wont. which, like sprite said, totally contradicts the one division thing.

I think it probably would've been better it instead of aiming for an AAA, we would have to get a "target" score just like last round. Sure, the mods would affect scores, but if it's far from a AAA score, does it really matter much? Edit: For clarification, I meant the "target score" being far from a AAA.

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Yeah, Numi hun, you should change this.
I can barely FC VCs, rather than AAA them. And with mods too.

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Okay. Okay. I see the huge problem here.
I'm really sorry everyone..i haven't been thinking much lately. I see Survive really IS kind of hard... I've only got two score submissions so far... I can change the song, I guess. Survive is pretty impossible with those mods anyway xD *EDIT* I read the rest of the comments and I see how much of a problem this really is. I barely played the song with those mods, I was pressed for time when I started the round I got on only about ten minutes before I said I'd post the new song and score. Damn, I really am horrible at this... I'm really, really sorry guys. Its not cool and I'll post a new song/score thats much more fair to everyone soon. In an hour or two. You've all got a point that only masters like Sprite- have a chance at getting through the round. I haven't been on much lately, so without thinking that EVERYONE has different skill levels, I just assumed... god... Okay. I greatly apologize to everyone. The new song will be up within a half hour. I'll PM everyone this new song/score and apologize. I really wasn't thinking. It won't happen again. Once I'm done with Round Two's song, I'll get the other rounds done so I can think more clearly. This was terrible because I was so pressed for time. Ten minutes to do it, and I panicked, and couldn't think, so i came up with that Survive bullsh*t. I'm sorry, guys.

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Sorry for double post here, but I wanted to keep the last post up. Seems kind of important.
I have a new score for you all, and its on Secret Zombie Room. If for some reason you don't have it, get twenty credits and don't spend/send/gamble them, and it'll be the second song in the Secret genre. I have an amazing score for you all to try to emulate. (This song is only a 2, so even the newest n00bs could handle it). Its not the official score yet. I want to hear a bit of feedback because I have an idea (I know that last 3x mod and mini/blink idea sucked, but this one is actually a GOOD idea.). I got a 44-149-134-40-40. The thing is, on Victims and Martyrs last round, most people used autofail after AAAing the song up to a point. I figure that was smart, and I never posted anything against it, so it was fair. This round, I want to hear peoples opinions. I was wondering who would be in favor of a minimum requirement of goods and averages. Say, at least 20 goods and at least 20 averages? It would just spin things up a bit and make use of autofail a tad more difficult. Please post your thoughts on this before I officially make this the score (By the way, the score above may not be exact, I may play the song again and get more goods/averages, in which case I may use that. But I can guarantee the score will be something along those lines and it'll definitely be on Secret Zombie Room.)

*EDIT* I updated the main post with when round 2 starts/ends again. Once again, I want to apologize for the hassle I created by posting that awful score for you all on Survive. I can assure you I'm working on the remaining scores, I already have ideas for the remaining rounds that don't suck, and I guarantee things will go much more smoothly for the remainder of the tournament.

Re: Numi's First Tournament
it seems the appearance mods don't work in the new beta, so try not to use them for future reference. Everything else just works fine, but I guess you could enforce the rule to play non-beta versions if you feel if need be for those appearance mods.

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Thanks for the info, next time theres a mod (if I DO use one again...) I'll let people know not to use the beta.
