Well I have two files I'm working on now that I'm planning to send, but one of them is a little, uh, short. Would a 55-second-long song be too short for the pack?

And I'm drawing a background for the other song, so that may take a while. Seeing the progress with files being accepted, I'm hoping I'll have enough time...

Has anyone here worked with BG Changes a lot? I want the BG to pulse with a certain beat, but I'm having trouble getting it to look right. The background seems to randomly change in value. (It's darker in the middle of the song than at the beginning; some of the BG changes go to near-black for no reason apparent to me ...)

55 seconds is fine as long as the file is good and interesting.

As for BG changes, I don't think anyone here really plays around with them so you're going to have to try figuring it out yourself. bmah did step a file with various bg changes but I'm not sure whether or not he'll know how to utilize the pulsing effect. Try asking him anyways, he might know how to do it.

Would Healing Vision RMX be better stepped whole or cut to the end of the piano-portion?

You're talking about the song I did for the Community Keyboard Megapack 4? I used a series of pictures entirely, as opposed to an actual .avi or something like that. A lot of it is plain hard work. @_@

thx scylaax. i'll post a list of files and gfx needed thus far.

55 seconds is oooook but I wouldn't reccomend it unless it's really fun.

I'm aiming for a solid 30-40 files (at this rate it won't be hard. submissions are picking up hehu)

MORE REVIOUS ALREADY:

Disconnected Hazard: [heavy] coul scoring file. Some patterns were a little ugh with the hand jump trills or whatev, but overall well layered etc. [light] completely different file and awesome way to make a collab. kinda like @. this one is quite harder (lol layered 12ths) but I like the patterns more in this one. either way, both charts accep.

Intermission: The Offspring. Ixnay on the Hombre. Auto Accept.

Only my Railgun: lol this song. been stepped quite a few times, however I make no exaggeration when I say this is probably the best file for this song. Chorus is unfortunately a little repetitive because of the song, but this file played really well and the guitar solo was awesome. Doesn't feel like your typical rhododendron file haha. auto accep.

Snakeman Stage: U tryna win me over by submitting 2a03? WELL it worked. this file is ****ing awesome. accep

Tornadoman Stage: **** scylaax you're on a roll nig. This is completely different compared to other virt files. very fun. accep.

I think it's more because everyone had a dumpload of files laying around and it all came at once.
