Playing one-handed isn't much of a help. For me, it would be too much to concentrate on hitting arrows and relieving my itchy nose at the same time. (I play spread, not one-handed.)

my actual answer to this... if my nose itches or my eye itches... i try to blow at it from my mouth... it usually doesn't do anything, but it makes it more bearable, mentally.

then i tough it out, finish the song, and scratch like mad.

I usually play through it, or if I'm at a decent part I just switch to one and itch then back to 2 hands as fast as possible.
