Online games. Maplestory - 1200 bucks, Runescape 300-400, League - 390.

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
Remember those Gundam models from back in the day? I used to build and paint those things day in and day out over summer break. It was my parents money though, not mine :P Same thing right?

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
Aside from my $1400+ laptop my most expensive hobby was my Rubiks Cube puzzle collection. Have all sorts of them and I'm too lazy to talk about them so I'll just link you my most expensive one.
This 11x11x11 costed $140 (I got the white one with black stickers)

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
You'd be surprised how much casual spending on silly things adds up over a long period of time. Over the course of 9 years $1200-$1500 is nothing to me in the grand scheme of things (it was probably only about 2-3% of my net income)

Have you regretted any purchases less than or equal to $25?

€ 50 for an alluminium apple keyboard to play stepmania
6 years later it's still perfect and looks almost new

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
purchased a 150$ set of MSX puyo games that I can't even play because...well I don't have an MSX hue.
anything for collection sake. puyo series are pretty much my favorite of all time also spent 200$ on my current qpad keyboard from sweden, same as Stian's. to me it's more of a practical piece of equipment rather than a hobby

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
I've spent a few thousand on an ex girlfriend over two years. Does that count? Are women hobbies?

Re: Most expensive hobby item you've purchased?
Spent a fortune on MtG cards, then I got bored of it and gave them away.
