Genre selector
This is a simple change. I want there to be an option to have the genre selector return to the genre it was on before you started a song. I.E. I go to Rock --> Straight to Video. I finish it. Instead of returning to Dance, I want it to return to Rock.

Re: Genre selector
Not to mention it would have to take some supa sweet programming skillz to make it happen, which FFR obviously does not have, i.e. synth

Re: Genre selector
How about we all just do our 2 or 3 clicks after every song instead of being lazy?

Re: Genre selector
Or a Genre labeled Most Played Songs or a special genre labeled Top Players so all of those who want to get on the list don't have to track all the songs down.

Re: Genre selector
I like the "favorite song" genre idea, but the amount of coding necessary to make the genre selection wheel go back to the previously selected genre isn't worth it. It's a few mouse clicks to get to the genre you want, not that much of an inconvenience.

Re: Genre selector
The first 4 or 5 posters...wow, wtf. You realize this is the SUGGESTION forum, right? Oh no, he made a suggestion! Let's all run and hide!
I dislike people who do that. Make ACTUAL comments instead of "OMG sT0p BIENG T3H OOBER LAY ZEE!" -.- Anyways, I kind of like this idea. While the genre selector is loading, when I want to go back to the same genre, it goes insane and spins a full 360 when I click the arrows (before it fully loads), making me wait even longer. It's VERY annoying. |

Re: Genre selector
Thanks, sprite. I disagree that it would take a massive amount of programming to implement this. It would take about 5 lines at MAX to do this:
var genrePos=0; (in the arrows)genrePos++; or genrePos--; (during the loading of the wheel)genreWheel.frame = genrePos; See. I'm a novice and I could do it. And please don't harp on the errors in this code, I didn't test it or even think about it much. |
