I remember one time I posted a score or two from SMOC6 and 7 and no one knew what packs they were from

Played through a bit of this so far and its a lot better than SMOC 7 so it actually seems like its worth grabbing. Lots of jack heavy charts and lots of jumpstream here.

Eh, SMOC quality can be a little iffy but it is a pretty major release from a relatively large stepmania community so I think it definitely deserved the highlight. Always helps to keep the SMO front page a little more up-to-date as well so that it seems more active

^pretty much this so far. Played through like 25 or so files and some of them have been pretty horrible, but most are good. Also was a massive pain in the ass to get StepMania to read in all of the songs since some of them have unicode characters that it just barfs on. Had to manually search for an rename all of the files and folders to get it to pick them up x.x Is there some way to turn on unicode support in SM or something? I assume this breaks all of those songs for SMO since they won't match anyone elses anymore

EDIT: made a thread for the unicode issue so respond there if you have any input
