Tournament Help [bounty: 125,000 credits]
I've been in the planning stages of a FFR tournament that I have wanted to run for a while. However, it has taken me an extremely long time to get things going due to a lack of time and a huge lack of motivation due to the high workload the tournament involves. In addition to that, work has been taking up a lot of my time and I start school on the 30th of this month.
I am looking for two people with a drive to help me make this tournament successful. The ideal candidate will be a proficient stepartist that has a good attitude and is easy to work with. You will need to be able to step charts under specific difficulty parameters. I am willing to work with if you if things don't work out properly, but I won't settle with someone who can't follow instructions to the best of their abilities. The credit bounty for this is 125,000 per stepartist. I know it's not much, but a lot of people submit files to tournaments for no charge, so I hope this is enough to compensate. There is one catch though: if you are a stepartist for my tournament, you are ineligible to enter the tournament. All tentative information involving the structure of this tournament will be given to you if I have chosen you to be one of the two staff members to assist me in this. Trust me when I say this is something that hasn't been done before. You'd be a part of something pretty neat if you try. What I want from you: - a private message telling me why you're interested and why you'd be the best person for this job (if you're someone who doesn't have a lot of simfile exposure, prove to me that you're the person to help me out). - mediums of contact if you are interested - promise of commitment. If you don't commit fully, I will not hesitate to remove and replace you with someone else who is willing. For those of you who are interested, I really look forward to the help. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, please. EDIT: I should also note that I have all of the songs for you already. You won't have to search for anything. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 08-14-2012 at 11:06 PM.. |

Bump. I'm leaving inquiries about this open for a few more days and I'd really like to see a few names for this. I have one person interested already, but I would really at least like to see two people with a genuine interest.
For those of you interested and think that there's little to no information, it's done somewhat intentionally. Things will be revealed if you are on the team. EDIT: One more edit that I will make: I want people who have experience in the FFR community. You might be a very skilled simfile artist, but I also want simfile artists that are familiar with FFR and its community. If I haven't seen you make any real contribution to FFR in the community (that is: make an effort to socialize with others, participate in regular tournaments, or even just posting scores), I will feel less inclined to pick you. If there was another way to help out, I'd be interested. I don't really have the patience to make simfiles (no matter the length of the song) because of laziness (my last stepfile I started I never touched again).

I completely understand.
There are probably a few people that actually understand how to make simfiles but it seems like some are either too timid or just lack interest in the idea altogether. I've actually received inquiries from a few people (who will stay unnamed) but I would really like to see a wider variety of people. |

The amount of time will be dependent on the amount of work I give you guys. It will either be an intensive commitment (push out quickly with good quality), or a relaxed commitment (no fixed schedule, easy pace, etc). This doesn't mean that I'll just sit around and take little to no work at a time. Basically: I'm willing to be flexible just so as long as everyone is on the same page.

How many files/week would you be requiring, and is that completely different songs or different difficulty charts for the same song?

-VERY- interested in the stepping part, but I'm not sure how reliable I can be with the rest of the stuff.
You've worked with me before I'm sure you know what I mean :/
