Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C56)
Ok so here's the low down. I've been offered employment in 2 different places, and either way my free time will be absolutely fucked. I haven't had any energy to unwrap packs and make up challenges for everyone, and Jteh's also on break so yeah.
I have to wake up early tomorrow for a lot of stuff so I won't be able to catch up on Fundy's tonight so tomorrow night it shall be. Also, I want to try something else out to keep the TCG going since I can't really be coming up with challenges. The first person to complete both the Token challenge and Regular challenge (now being given on Saturdays) will get the rights to come up with the next week's challenge. This week it's scoper so I'll contact him (or he'll snoop at this thread.) Like I said though I'll catch up on packs tomorrow. Sorry for the inactivity.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C56)
Life comes first. Free time is overrated when you have things to do. I already know what I have in mind for a challenge but no one else is gonna like it. Although beyond that I'm fairly uncreative if I I have to think of two things.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C56)
Ok so here's what's going on.
I've had basically no time to unwrap packs and run the TCG in general. With Jteh on his break, I will temporarily give the challenges and what not a break. If you have purchased fundys after the last time Jteh unwrapped them, you will be refunded tonight or tomorrow. Been job hunting and I finally got hired. I start training next week and it's basically late shift so yeah. RIP best free time ever (for now.) So sorry for the inconvience guys, and when we get more time, we'll resume this whole thing again. Don't worry. You can still do trade-in's and what not and maybe if I'm really not busy I'll do some random thing. However, right now I'm swamped and can't do this myself atm.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C56)
I have refunded everyone that has purchased fundy's after the 10th. Basically only 3 people. I figured the lack of active participants also merited the pause for this.
It's been a great run, but now we shall pause this event until further notice. You guys can still do whatever you want with cards, and if any achievements are met as a result of trades/sales/etc, let me know. There just won't be fundy packs and active challenges going on right now. Also if Jteh ever finds time to do things for this, coolio, but I have no time or energy to keep up with this now. Maybe later down the road I'll be able to help with this, but not right now. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has helped supported this and we're not going away completely. Like I said! Just a temporary pause!

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (C56)
Thanks for the effort you guys put in badman, Jteh, and any others that run the TCG. Looking forward to the continuation sometime in the future. Take it easy.

Pretty sure it's been put on hold since last month. The post badman made just before you explains the situation.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (suspended until further notice)
This would need some hefty updates to get back running, but I'm curious to know if there is interest in rebooting this, even on a basic level (just weekly challenges).
Would there be interest in starting this up again? |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (suspended until further notice)
wow, almost a whole year since the last post.
this'd probably need a lot of responsibility and possibly someone new taking care of the card system to get it up and running again.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (suspended until further notice)
I think the biggest part would be getting the cards/songs difficulties reworked to the new scale. One solution I was thinking of was having a song list and a VLookup table for the new difficulty and rarity. To help on correcting the data, I was considering staring a new spreadsheet and only porting over the collections of those who re-join the TCG. This would also improve the load time on the spreadsheet temporarily as well as spread out the amount of data entry required to fix the cards to the new difficulty (using a VLookup table would reduce this amount of time).
In terms of maintenance, I think it will be easier to run long term if we keep it to just the weekly challenge packs, token packs, and trading cards between players and with the house. Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 03-12-2017 at 10:00 AM.. |

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game (suspended until further notice)
As much as I'd love to help out with the reboot, my life had basically taken a 720 degree turn, and as far as interest in FFR itself, right now it's not even an interest. Honestly hope this gets back on its feet though.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
Current Challenge
Challenges may only be completed once! Submissions for completed challenges must not contain scores or tasks accomplished at a time earlier than the challenged was assigned. Challenge #57 Tier 1: Score 5,000 Perfects in a Day Tier 2: Score 10,000 Perfects in a Day Tier 3: Score 20,000 Perfects in a Day Token Pack: Option A) Score 20,000 Perfects in a Day While Having Less Than 200 Boos. Option B) Score 30,000 Perfects in a Day You may unlock both a Tier 3 and a Token Pack in the same day. The "Day" is based on server time. Either submit a screenshot of your profile page, or the daily stats page when you have completed the challenge. -------The challenge ends on Sunday, March 19th at 11:59 PM Server Time.------- P.S. You cannot submit today's stats for this challenge, Monday is the official start date of the challenge (in an hour). Updating will take a bit of extra time this weeks to bring your collections over to the new spreadsheet, so please be patient. I hope you all enjoy pack openings again! Also the Fundraiser Packs are still on hold for later consideration.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
If that's the case Soundwave, can I buy your top 2 cards + Angel Island Remix (4th card from top)? I'll give you 10k creds.
Also, unless you have all the tokens, you might wanna keep those token cards. edit - are we doing trades yet or waiting for new spreadsheet to go up? edit edit - Quality + Token Pack please.

Re: The FFR Trading Card Game
Trades will be active, all the old rules apply (in the OP).
Also you can start from scratch if you'd like, I guess Soundwave. |
